                                              "Potter!" Thirteen year old Lily Evans screeched at James Potter. "Put Severus down right now!" 
                          James, who had been holding Severus Snape up in the air with a hex, looked at her. "But Evans," he whined. "Where's the fun in that?"
                          Lily glared at the boy with so much anger, it was a surprise he didn't burn yet. James sighed but let Snape go.

                          "So, Evans," The Potter heir began. "How about we go on a date?" 
                          Lily turned to him in disbelief. "No!" She snapped and took Snape away to the hospital wing. James stared after her with confusion and hurt. 
                          But little did he know, Lily would have said yes if he hadn't hexed her best friend.
