Your POV-
" Baby look! I finished the piece!" I shouted to my fluffy brown and white Maine coon.
She looked at me and meowed loudly, her soft fur rubbing against my raw ankle.
" 'Ya like it?" I asked, grabbing my messy can of colorful water and pushing around the over used brush, getting the stains of red and blue paint off. "I could hang it? On my wall?"
She looked up to me, her neutral green eyes glowing.
She looked mad.
"No? I guess your right, I do have my walls coated in my stuff. But it's not my fault okay!" I told the cat, taking off my thin gloves and removing my cute daisy-filled apron.
I set it on the side, hanging it with the rest of my random patterned aprons.
The Maine coon wandered over through my small studio apartment and found my bed, jumping up sleathily and slithering her way through the faux fur blanket. She cuddled into it and stretched, then meowed at me to walk over there. I didn't move, as I only hung my painting up on the wall.
I turned my back and began to sing a small tune, humming the Mickey Mouse boat tune then moving onto something random.
As I did that, though, the curious cat got up and walked over to me, and brushed up against me. " I know your not hungry," I told her as I pinned shut the small black case where my brushes went.
"You meow less and stare more." I laughed out, adding a small giggle at the end.
I pushed her off gently with my foot and walked over to my art sink where I washed off the palette with a sponge that I normally used for my palettes. She walked towards my painting and looked at it on the wall, the cute lofi-like photo making her happy, I think. The sides faded out into the white, choppy canvas while the center was filled with small brown colors and some faint reds and blues.
The Maine coon walked over to me and must've seen something, but she began to run deranged-like. She spotted all over the small apartment, nearly shattering a cheap vase.
"Hey!" I shouted.
"No! Baby!"
"Don't do that you almost knocked that over!"
"Quit it, Nala!" I told the cat multiple times to stop, but she wouldn't.
The damn thing just had the zoomed I think.
I just got tired of talking to a brick wall, so i strutted over to my fresh painting and held it to move it, but Nala ran through legs as I held it.
"Nala No!" I yelled at her as the painting dropped to the floor, same as i.
Paint got everywhere.
On my white blouse.
New, by the way.
It also got on my nice Nike shorts, the only pair that make my ass look good.
And the only pair that have lasted this long.
It also got on my floor..
Shit.
My landlord wasn't going to be happy.
I got up and grabbed my cat, still gently because that would be mean, and put her on my bed. "Seriously dude? What did you even see? Because I swear to Apollo and Hephaestus if you saw a mouse or rat. Ugh, ew." I spoke.
I per my cats forehead and then walked away touching my own.
"Fuck me." I told myself as I grabbed the nearest cloth, which happened to be an old apron.
I scrubbed at the floor and grabbed some water without looking. I poured it on my floor and then realized- my goddamn paint water.
"SHIT! No, no, no! Way to stir the pot, (Y/N)." I told myself.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
I got up and wiped off the paint form my cheek and walked to the wooden door.
"Hel-" I tried.
" I heard the commotion, (Y/N). I know you spilled something again." My landlord spoke.
"Shit!- I mean, what?" I said, trying to casually close the door on him.
He frowned even more and pushed the door open, taking me with it.
"Okay, bossy britches." I softly said to myself.
"You spilled your goddamn shit again?!" He shouted at me.
"Yeah..So what? I can clean it up." I reasoned.
"Someone else can." He said, grabbing the key from my small desk next to my bed.
"Really!? Because that'd be a big help!" I told him nicely. "No, someone else can clean it because your out of here."
..
..
"Your evicting me?" I asked quietly.
"Yes. Be out in the next week." He spoke affirmatively.
"WEEK?! But that like, absolutely zero time at all!" I tried to tell him. He put his hand up and looked down at his phone.
"Yes. Because the other lady that's moving in here is prepared to get in if she only had one day." He said to me, scrolling through digitized papers. He turned off his iphone with a click and then put it in his pant pocket.
He nodded and looked around at my walls, putting on this disgusted face. It was like he was trying to conceal it? Clearly, he sucks at that because I'm reading him like a book.
He then left the room and I just kinda stood there.
What was I supposed to do now?
*KNOCK KNOCK*
"Not again, Jeremy." I said. (Landlords name)
They opened the door.
It revealed a new man I have never seen before.
"Want help? Because im getting evicted in a week too, but I have somewhere to go." He told me, with his hands in his pockets casually.
"What's your name?" He asked after I hadn't replied for several seconds.
"(Y/N).." I said.
"I'm Kuroo Tetsuro. Nice to meet you."
