(Francis Scott) Chapter 10: I want to win!

"We need to go." Louis took his jacket and walked fast, we followed him and can see him trembling, he is breathing heavily.

"Louis--" I pulled his hand. We saw him, he was crying. "Why are you crying Louis?" Kyla blocked his way. "You guys, you haven't notice it do you?" his voice was trembling, we sat on the rocks.

"What do you mean Louis?" Kyla spoke confusingly

"Stop the crap Kyla!" he shoved her hand on his shoulder

"Louis calm down!" I patted his back, he stood up and grabbed Kyla's collar, he clenched his fist

"Calm down!" I pulled him back to the bench

"Louis can you explain me why?" I crouched on the dirt

"She....she betrayed us." he looked down and wiped his face

"Who?" confused, I look back and I didn't want to believe everything I thought. I began to cry.

"Y-you....you set us up, didn't you?" I tried to hold back my anger

"Geez, I was doing well this whole time, but I guess I did enough. GO." by the time she said GO agents around the area grabbed us. No matter how hard I struggle, more of them stops me from moving.

"It looks like I have outsmarted you, Louis." Kyla smirked and crossed her arms

"Yeah of course, I never want to lose anyway." Louis looks like he was having fun then there was explosions around the area. The agents lost their sight of us, we ran away and hid to a closed area.

"Louis, did you know this coming?" I crouched and asked him how

"Two days before I went to the café, she was hiding something I already knew from the start. Yesterday, I solved the case, and found out that one of her minions killed Mr. William, at the park I just played along with her antics when I showed you guys the hammer that was used to the scene but, he didn't die because of how he bled to death, when William went to the café he was served with a drug in his coffee." Louis explained

"But, didn't you drink your latte?" I asked worriedly

"No need to panic, when I took a sip on it, I realized that the taste was quite off, since I drink latte all the time, I can tell the difference of the taste. Then I looked around pretending to find some proof, I spitted my latte on the canal when you guys where looking to each other, when I looked up, I saw some red light, and that was the hidden camera. Today, before you guys arrived, I planted some time bombs." Louis sighed

"How dare she." I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth, I've never been so betrayed in all my life, and I think Louis feels the same way. ! . "Louis, did you know why is she doing this?" I looked at Louis.

"Unfortunately I don't know, but all I know is that Jordan kills the students who failed." 

"W-what did you say?" I trembled in fear. "Since when did you know this?" I asked him

"When I transferred here." Louis replied calmly

"Then why didn't you save them? Why didn't you call the police? Why?!" I cried in pain, I  already know how it feels when you're just below the smart students but, this is 3 times much brutal pain some students felt.

"Think Francis, Jordan has the upper hand, the government supports him, even the police. If we're going to bring him down then, we're going to think carefully and make a plan." he sighed

"Even if we're going to bring him down, the students' who died because of him cannot go back." I began to lose hope. "Are we going to defeat him, just the two of us?" I asked
