You were currently sitting in class, your thoughts wandering in your own made up world inside of your mind instead of listening to whatever the teacher was currently telling the class. It was something about history which honestly, couldn't concern you as much.
The scenery outside of the window caught your attention, you silently thanked your adviser for assigning you to a seat close by the window. Though you'd rather be on your best friend's seat since her spot was just next to the window. A heavy sigh escaped your lips when you had enough of looking through the window.
Laughter was heard from below and they were the upperclassmen running around the open space inside of the school premises. You knew that they still have one more period before classes end but here they are, running freely as if nothing was holding them back. You were envious that the seniors weren't busy during this period. In fact, you noticed that the seniors weren't really busy at all.
"I know the teacher's lessons are so boring but what made you so depressed this afternoon?" Your best friend, Hu Tao chimed in as she noticed your demeanor. She poked the dull end of her pen to your ticklish side making you suddenly jump and made some of your classmates look at you two.
"Stop that!" You cried out and held her wrist in place. Hu Tao only grinned and quickly stopped before the teacher scolds the both of you. She already caused unwanted attention anyway, she wouldn't dare anger the teacher anymore. "Why can't we be like the seniors for once? I want to have a free schedule too and just sleep and eat for the whole day!"
Hu Tao narrowed her eyes and stared at you, "(Y/n). You do know that the seniors are already graduating right? They took the exam earlier than us so they could have ample time to practice their graduation ceremony" she then looked down on her notes, "If I flunk my remedial classes, I won't be graduating in time too! stupid history.."
She mumbled the last part but you can still hear the words as she 'attentively' listened to the teacher once more. Then it hit you, the school year is almost ending and the seniors today won't be staying here next school year.
The bell then rang out as a signal that classes ended. History was your last class for today and supposedly, you and Hu Tao would be walking back home together but she has remedial classes today and wouldn't be joining you. This gave you the time to visit one of the seniors that's rather close to you which is Albedo.
