Jack's hidden scars

Ever since Jack met the autobots he had to be more careful with hiding his secrets and masking his feelings. Before "accidently" running into Arcee, jack life at home wasn't great. His mother would ignore him, beat him, starve him, let stranger use his body as they please, and burn him with branding tools. Jack got everything in the book of all abuse happen to him. He never told or showed anyone of his torture. Not even Optimus who he had developed a crush on. But jack felt deep down Optimus only saw him just a human friend...nothing more.

When the kids arrived at base Miko had went top before jack and raf enter. Bulk was talking to Optimus about Miko and what happen at school. Jack on the other hand didn't hear any of it and decided to head up with something on his agenda. In his pocket was a letter to everyone at base with a group picture of all of them. "Forgive me....I just can't take it..." jack mumbles holding his arms.

Just as I was about to take my shoes
Off of the rooftop there I see
A girl with braided hair there before me
Despite myself I go and scream;

"Hey! Don't do it, please" jack stood there staring at miko shocked. Miko was so close to the edge crying ready to jump.

Whoa, wait a minute what did I just say?
I couldn't care less either way
To be honest I was somewhat pissed;
This was an opportunity missed
The girl with braided hair told me her woes

"You've probably heard it all before;
I really thought that he may be the one
But then he told me he was done" Miko had confessed to a boy a while ago of her feelings and they dated. But when she didn't give in to his desire he dumped her for a girl who would. Jack was beyond pissed and stomped to her roughly grabbing her arms pulling her away "For God's sakes please! Are you serious? I just can't believe ! That for some stupid reason you got here before me! Are you upset 'cause you can't have what you wanted?
You're lucky that you've never gotten robbed of anything!". Jack had tears running down his face remembering the strangers taking his innocents over and over. Miko stared and wanted to asked but didn't. "I'm feeling better thank you for listening!" Miko smiles and hugged him than walked to the elevator leaving Jack.

The girl with braided hair then disappeared

The next day jack went to the elevator again without anyone noticing. "Alright, today's the day" jack walked out onto the top of the silo. He froze and eyes widen.

or so I thought
Just as I took both of my shoes off
There was but a boy short as can be
Despite myself, I go and scream
The petite boy told me his woes

"You've probably heard it all before;
Everyone ignores me, everyone steals
I don't fit in with anyone here." Raf spoke gripping his shirt looking down from the edge. Jack knew he had to stop raf, he was just a kid! "For God's sakes please! Are you serious? I just can't believe! That for some stupid reason you got here before me 'Cause even so, you're still loved by everyone at home! There's always dinner waiting at the table, you know?". Jack once again cried remember nights he went hungry and his mother hating him. "I'm hungry" raf walked away but now worried for jack.

The boy short as can be then disappeared

And like that, there was someone every day
I listened to their tale, I made them turn away
And yet there was no one who would do this for me No way I could let out all this pain

Jack tried everyday to complete his task but everyday he face someone. Bulkhead, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Arcee, and even Agent Fowler. He was happy to help them but not enough to ease his silent pain.
Jack once more tried again but what he didn't expect when he got up there. He saw the one and only "Optimus?.."

For the very first time, there I see
Someone with the same pains as me
Having done this time and time again

"I just wanna stop the scars that grow
Everytime that I go home
That's why I came up here instead" Optimus spoke sounding broke and defeated. Jack heart sank staring at the mech he fell for dealing with such pain like him.

Whoa, wait a minute what did I just say?
I couldn't care less either way
But in the moment I just screamed
Something that I did not believe

"Hey! Don't do it, please." Jack stumbles forward as tears just flow down his face. He couldn't let him end his life but he had no reason...he was in the same boat.

Agh- what to do!? I can't stop this boy, oh this is new!
For once I think I've bitten off more than I can chew
But even so,

"please just go away so I can't see
Your pitiful expression is just too much for me!" He held his head bend over crying harder not wanting to look at Optimus only to see his weak self. Optimus optics widen as jack action is exactly what the others said. His little jack was gonna leave them but he has a plan. "I guess today is just not my day" Optimus quietly walked back to the lift. Jack stayed there feeling his heart shatter thinking Optimus didn't care for him at all...

He looked away from me and then she disappeared

The next day, jack headed up and saw no one was there. He picked a rock up and place the letter and picture under it near cliff jumper tomb stone like.

There's no one here today, I guess it's time
It's just me, myself and I
There's no one who can interfere
No one to get in my way here

Jack removed his shoes than his shirt showing all the scars, burns, bite marks, everything he gain. He body was skin and bones no weight to him. Jack stood at the ledge looking down tears falling "This petite boy short as can be...Is gonna jump now and be free...".

"JACK!!!!!"

Jack open his eyes looking up at Optimus who caught him. "O-Optimus....w-why..." jack was set down carefully. Optimus shrunk down and pulled jack into a warm gentle hug "don't leave me jack...please...if I known sooner I would have saved you from her jack". Optimus pulled away looking at him "Miko and raf had Fowler investigate you jack...she not gonna harm you anymore sweetspark". Jack stares and began trembling before crying holding in a scream. "Jack let it out....it's okay love" Optimus held him to his chassis. Jack soon screamed out loudly gripping Optimus. All the pain he had hid and locked away he released. Optimus held him cooing to him "I'm here jack....I'm here now sweetspark". Jack whimpered not letting go of him.

Weeks pass and jack was in full health, he has nightmares now and than. But with Optimus by his side now that there mates, Jack felt free a different way, a better way.

Sitting on with the letter in his hand, jack kept reading it over and over. He was greatful for Optimus saving him a few years ago. He jumpped feeling Optimus servo around his waist pulling him close. "You okay love? There a certain little femme who wants her carrier to read her a bed time story" Optimus chuckles. Jack giggles "alright but first...I think it's time to let go of the past and set it free". He stood up and tore the letter up and threw it up letting the wind blow it off. He smiles and walks with Optimus back into the base happy and loved.

The end
