She stood up form her chair, a look of concern and excitement plastered on her face. She grinned from ear to ear and started becoming flustered trying to gather everything, from her laptop to her tote to her coffee. She just stopped for a few seconds, closed her eyes took in a deep breath, looked at me with a straight face and said.
"Meet me at the park tonight at three am, if your not there, I'll be contacting your brother."
She packed up her laptop, charger and grabbed her coffee. She turned back to me, gently smiled and bowed then walked out.
I felt bewildered, then I thought.
'Shit, my girlfriend.'
The tab was placed on the table, I pulled my hands over my face, leaned back into my chair and sighed .
'Shit'

She was pacing back and forth in front of her house fiddling with the small necklace tucked away under her clothes.
She looked at the dreadful doorstep, she felt like everything would collapse on her, the moment she took a step in.
Like her parents knew what just happened, they knew she met up with Asher, they knew she made a deal, they knew she wanted to get back at them.
That they knew all of it, her heart was crashing into her ribs, her hair started to come undone, with all the brushing through it.
She took a deep breath in, redid her hair, looked at her hands, touched her face, and brushed her fingers against the necklace again.
'No, they don't know, they don't know yet, your ok.'
She readjusted her bag strap, and opened the door, her mom was in the kitchen cooking dinner, her dad was nowhere to be seen.
She quietly closed the door and tried to sneak back into her room, her mom knowingly stopped her.
"Where were you?"
Her voice was quite, and threatening. Youngmi's throat got dry, and her shoulders heavy.
But like always, she kept a cool calm composure, turning and looking her mom in the eyes.
"I went to meet Ahn, she wanted to tell me about a boy she started liking."
She turned to walk away, not wanting to be pressed for details.
"And she couldn't call you? Or text you?" A loud CHOP was heard from the knife, her moms tone was still calm but sent a chill down her back.
She didn't budge though, and just smiled. "No, he was at the coffee shop and she wanted me to see him in real life, cause I guess 'pictures wouldn't do him justice'."
Her mom scoffed, and rolled her eyes. "Is that how you brats are talking now? Her mother should really get her a husband, I mean what good is a girl who always spreads her legs to any cute guy she sees?"
She felt her patience running thin, glancing at the stairs as she aggressively rubbed her collar bone.
She looked back to her mom, who was huffing and puffing, still going on about stupid Ahn.
Youngmi didn't really care what her mom had to say about ahn, just what she would say to Dae at three, she had to make up a list of rules and an agreement, what good would going into this thing unprepared be?
After two more minutes her mom was done, and spoke in a more 'delicate' voice. "Go to the mirror, for......thirty minutes is ok."
She smiled at Youngmi, catching the girl off guard. "Since you caught Daehyuns attention,"
Youngmi bowed, and slowly walks up the stairs, thinking it over, feeling her heart swing.
Did she make the right choice?
Would Asher really make it work?
Daehyun was so tempting, like a ripe fruit, with so much sweetness and satisfaction, but a bitter aftertaste that left her nauseous.
Asher was a small sour berry, that didn't look filling or appetizing at all, but smelled, and tasted so good and the aftertaste only got better.
She didn't know what to do, once she got in her room she sat on her bed, getting ready to undress.
She checked and her curtains were closed, only the sunlight seeped through the layered white.
Dae has so many benefits, my mom is nicer, my dad is too, he doesn't even look at me when Dae pays attention to me, and me getting into a relationship with him? What benefits would I get?
Being able to eat what I wanted? Or choose what I want to wear again?
But my family would love it, they'd praise me, and sing beautiful compliments in my ear.
She shivered, and felt her hatred build up in her.
And Asher would only make the stricter and tighter, she'd constantly hear insults, and screams, and it would only be fights.
But they'd be so mad , piercings? Tattoos? And electric gutair, a motorcycle, what bad boy stereotype does he not fit?
And better yet he wasn't the heir to the fortune, he didn't even want to be rich.
She felt her heart flutter and a giggle erupt form her, as she threw hersf back and grinned at her cieling.
'Asher is definitely the better choice'
