The next day , I could only think about what Lucas was going to say yesterday. I couldn't concentrate on my classes.
It was lunch time already and I still can't get him out of my head. Where was he by the way? I didn't see him at any of my classes.
"Nora? Are you listening?" Mia shook my hand. I was completely zoned out and didn't hear any of what she was saying.
"Sorry. What were you talking about?" I asked.
"There's a party at Harley's place, tonight. You should come" Mia practically beamed. She has a thing for parties.
"I don't think I can. I have a lot of homework to do. And I'm not really interested in parties. Not my thing. Sorry" I smiled apologetically.
Mia groaned.
"Please. Just this one time. Please" she gave me puppy eyes.
"Im sorry Mia. Maybe another time?" I asked.
"You're no fun Nora" she crossed her arms and huffed in annoyance.
I couldn't help but chuckle at her behaviour. It was adorable.
Mia turned to Brian, who was busy playing games in his phone, and smacked his head.
"Pay attention ,will you?" Mia showered him with all kinds of smacks know to human.
"Stop. Smacking. Me." Brian uttered between the smacks.
Brian suddenly held Mia's wrists making her stop smacking. Mia's eyes widened a bit.
"I'm not coming to that stupid party. Its game night" he uttered ,letting go of her wrists.
A blush creeped up to Mia's cheeks, even though there was nothing to blush about.
Dang. They're cute.
I brought a hand up to my face to cover my smirk.
Time to play Cupid.
"Brian, I think you should go. I don't want Mia to go alone. You should go with her" I stated.
Brian contemplated the thought in his head for a minute.
"Fine. I'll go" he agreed , to which Mia replied with a 'Yay'.
They were both blushing hard, which I noticed.
I knew it. I knew there was something going on between them. I'll be the best cupid and they'll be the cutest couple.
"Bye, guys. Gotta go to class" with a 'seeya' from Brian and a timid 'bye' from Mia , I left the canteen , holding my giggle.

The rest of the classes went by a blur. Trig, geography, art and physics.
Lucas was nowhere to be found. Not in any of my classes and not even at lunch. Maybe he was sick or something?
I walked to my home and unlocked the door. I headed straight for the bathroom to take a cold shower.
I was singing -screaming- at the top my lungs , in the shower, when the doorbell rung.
Huh? Who's here at this time?
I turned off the shower.
Mom wont be home in a month. My neighbours usually calls the home telephone. And my friends don't know where my house is. Who's at the door?
The person at the door was the most impatient person in the whole world, ringing the doorbell on and on.
I quickly put on the extra PJs I put in my drawer. I had no time to dry myself , because this person was annoying the hell out of me by ringing the bell several times.
"Coming!" I yelled.
I reached the door and opened it to find Lucas, eyes widened at my state.
"I-I...umm..." he swallowed hard, causing his Adam's apple to bob.
Never in my life had I seen Lucas Prince at a loss of words.
He was raking his eyes all over me- my damp hair, the white PJs now sticking to my body. I tried not to squirm under his stare.
"What?!" I basically shouted , because he interrupted my concert......in my shower.
He quickly regained his composure and smirked.
This guy and his smirk.
"Did you forgot already? We have a project to complete"
