Mion Sonozaki is walking to the toy store from school, she has to help her uncle at work, it wouldn't seem like the next heir of the Sonozaki family would run such errands but no matter what that is true. On her way to there she sees her dear classmate Rena Ryuugu, Mion walks up to her to strike a conversation but Rena seems lost in thought and is caught off-guard by Mion's sudden appearance. "Oh hi- its nice to see you out here Mion!" Rena chuckles nervously and greets Mion. "Are you going to help your uncle again? If you are you should really get going, that must be important.", "My uncle can wait, you seem pretty nervous and focused on something, where are you off to?" Mion asks. Rena had been planning to leave an anonymous love letter at Mions doorstep, so she tried to make her leave to do the job. "I was about to go to the junkyard to treasure hunt as always! Yesterday i found a really cute chest i wanted to take home, but it was too late to get it out of the pile it was stuffed in!" Rena lies. Mion catches her lie and says "The junkyard is in the opposite direction though, you dont have to lie, i know something is up and you can trust me with it! I'll always be by your side." Rena panics and is quickly thinking on what to do. "No its okay- What if i just help you at your uncles store? I bet he needs help restocking the shelves and it must be hard to do alone." Rena rambles trying to rescue the situation. "Sure if you're free, I would love some help, especially from you!" Mion responds, still suspicious but brushes off the previous incident. They start walking to Mion's uncles toy store in silence. As they walk around the corner Rena suddenly trips on the spaces between the pavement and impulsively accidentally pulls Mion down with her. Rena's bag was open all along so its contents spill on the sidewalk. Of course, the love letter she was planning to leave at Mions doorstep was in the bag and currently is on the ground. "Ow!!" Mion falls to the ground by Renas pull. "Im so sorryyyy i didn't mean to-" Rena apologizes. Mion slowly notices the delicately wrapped letter. It's obvious it's a love letter. Mion bursts out laughing and says "Renaaaa what is thiss? Is this for Kei-chan? It was always obvious you liked him but i didn't think you'd go so far as to write him a letter! You have to let me see it!"
