The Meeting Ends and We Get Treated to a Surprise!

Everyone minus Isabella choked.

"Because Phil told us he was leaving and- and...!!!!" Sarah started crying and I felt guilty for eating non-existent popcorn.

"So we shouted no because that's what friends do! But then a WHOOOOOOOLE five seconds later the teacher started getting mad at us for being sad and loud for that ZEEEEERO point zerozerozerozerozerozerozerozerozerozerozerozero ONEEE second." Johnathan said. I can't believe that this kid also thought it was five seconds!

"And then she told Phil to call his parents!" Omar added in shaking his head with wide eyes. It was quiet. Not surprising though because this was some kinda situation. I don't think it's... normal, especially when it happens in a kindergarten.

"And the librarian!" Sarah said perfectly normal and zero voice cracks like she hadn't just cried me a river. "She grabbed Phil's book and told him to pick it up after school ended and it wasn't even her book!"

"She's a thief!" Omar shouted. Damn does Omar also have beef with her that we don't know about? I looked over at Johnathan who nodded with his arms crossed. He looked like he was about to throw hands!

"And the PE teacher doesn't let Omar drink water either!" He said and I could tell he was getting angrier and angrier.

"He's racist!" Sarah said looking like she was about to cry.

"Sweetie don't cry." Sarah's dad said hugging her.

"I'm not! I'm just angry!" I wiped away nonexistent tears. She also cries when she's angry, I love her. The principal sat down and everyone had a better talk than how it was before. When it was over the principal didn't want to fire the teachers, wow, and so Johnathan, Sarah, and Omar's parents decided to switch schools and Phil wanted to leave today. Everyone walked out of the meeting and the kids went back to class to grab their things and say bye to their other classmates. Who would've thought that the second day of school for Phil and me would end up like this? I was floating next to Isabella and Sarah's mom kept staring at me like I was some sort of demon.

"Is there something wrong?" Isabella asked her.

"It's just... the spirit seems sad." Sad? How am I sad? Crazy stuff just happened!

"You mentioned that there was a spirit hanging around the kids. Do you know more about it?" Omar's mom asked. Sarah's mom shook her head.

"No, but I can find out more if the spirit isn't connected to the school. I forgot to bring my pendulum today, but I'll make sure to bring it with me next time." Pendulum? What's that? "But anyways, how did you teach Phil, Isabella? Sarah's been talking about him non-stop!"

"It's the same with Omar, he's the fastest and the smartest is what he said." Isabella smiled.

"Phil is just an amazing child. He picks up on things so easily, I didn't do anything."

"Oh wow, do you have any other kids?"

"Yes, I taught everyone when I was still working at the orphanage."

"Oh! Is Ray one of your children?" We all blinked in surprise at Johnathan's mom.

"Yes, how did you know?" Isabella asked confused. I tilted my head and that's when everything clicked.

I had to say, they looked really similar now that I'm paying attention, but maybe, just maybe they weren't related? It would be HORRIBLE if they were! Poor Johnathan and Johnathan's mom! They really didn't deserve that kind of treatment if it was him! Wait, does he treat them well though? Even if the possible person is an asshole that just because school sucks, so maybe he can actually be a decent human being?

"My son is...!"
