I ran as far as I could from the village which was overrun by lycans now. The only place I could run to was the Beneviento manor, the only place close enough that the lycans avoided
My feet were scratched from the ground up to the calves, sharp litter cut at my heels, and blood from the wounds mixed with the wet dirt from the path. The forest lying before the manor was horrid, filled with hanging dolls and graves making me run faster and further into the estate.
The house seemed empty from here, the door was open and letting a slight breeze flow in. I peeked my head into the doorway, looking around. The house gave me an uneasy feeling, the noise from inside was muffled from the loud and bustling waterfall next to it. I walked through to the living room area, stomping wet patches of dirt onto the clean carpet. It feels like something is watching me.
"..hello? Could I perhaps stay here for a bit?" My voice echoed through the empty house, only dolls littered the rooms, giggling and chattering. "..is anyone here?" I walked deeper in. My feet making a trail of wet grass, dirt, and blood.
A slight tapping came from a dripping sink in the kitchen. It was plain, the dishes were washed and put up, cutlery was put neatly in the drawers, and food was kept organized in the fridge. I stood looking around the kitchen a bit before turning back. There was movement behind me, a slight whoosh came from the doorway.
"Oh, a little robber huh?" The scratchy giggle belonged to a floating doll in the kitchen doorway, making me jump. I turn towards the doll and flinch back onto something solid causing two hands to grab at my waist, preventing me from falling.
"Lost?" A voice whispers into my ears. The grip tightens. "H-How did you-" This woman wasn't behind me before. The doll's giggling echoed through the other dolls, getting louder and louder by the second.
The lady behind me inhaled in the divot between my right shoulder and my neck. Then, she pulled me back to her chest wrapping her arms around me, making my chest swell up in fear. My words were caught up in my throat making me stutter.
"I-I think I migh—Sorry, I thi-think I have the wrong house! I'm sorry for bothering you—you guys!" I make a move towards the doorway but the lady's tight grip keeps me still.
The lady laid her head on my shoulder giving me a brief view of herself. Her head was covered by a black veil, and the arms around my waist were covered to the wrist in the same black cloth.
"Oh, I can't let my play date leave so soon—stay a little longer, won't you?" The doll's voice was mocking me; she moved around, grabbing at my hair and examining my full body. The other woman's hands didn't leave me, they stayed in a tight grip around my waist.
It seems the two had expected me here. I was trapped between them and unable to move anywhere without using force. The dolls should've been the first red flag.
It was a mistake coming here, I can't stay. As a last minute attempt, I rip her arms away from me and push her back. My arms tangle on a fabric from her dress so I pull it back towards me, ripping it away from her face, revealing her dull eye and cold expression. One of them was covered with a mutation of skin and scarring. It leaves only a garble of skin and veins over her other eye.
The doll burst into laughter and moved away from my body. She had seemed to notice me eyeing the doorway. "Oh—oh, you must have the guts. No one makes it out of the Beneviento Estate alive." Giggling filled the room again and the lady stayed quiet, staring at me. Her look seemed to had gotten colder.
"Escaping?" She reached to grab my wrist but I had already set off towards their front door. Dolls covered my path, preventing me from moving swiftly.
I push them away and run through to the front yard and past the forest and graves, sprinting more and more as I get further and further from the house. Sweat started building up around my forehead and my chest, my legs started hurting more, and it seems like the path went on forever and ever.

My pace finally reduced to a stroll. It was getting dark now, I notice some lights in the distance, and the growling of the nearby lycans seemed to had gotten closer. I must be near the town. The town seemed to had been bustling since I could hear talking and laughter in the distance.
Once I had gotten close enough, the noise seemed to have gotten softer, the lights dimmer. Had I already past it? It had grown softer and softer as I had moved towards the light. But wasn't the town abandoned?
"How?" My eyes grew wide. In front of me were the same two figures, the same house, the same waterfall, everything. Both stared directly at me.
I turn and sprint again towards the darkness, but each and every time, I end up in front of the same house, the same woman, the same doll. Each time, the woman—Lady Beneviento—greeted me with a cold stare and a dull eye.
I was getting tired, my body couldn't keep up with the amount of running I had been doing. Again, I land myself in front of the same house, making me collapse onto the floor. She—the lady—stood in the exact spot as before, the doll only now floating towards my cowering figure. "Found you, let's play again."
Again, the laughter and chattering starts. Only this time, the dolls all surround my figure, latching onto any space of my body they can reach, especially my face. The lady only stood and watched, a smile seemed to had grown a slightest bit on her face.
I push them aside but they don't seem to budge, they stay glued onto me. Still, I keep and pushing away from the door. It was suffocating. I was already over exerted from the running, this was too much.
"Let go!" I struggle more and more, my breath getting more limited. It wasn't until I reached the path that the moon started spinning around my head, the door getting closer and closer towards me, and my vision darkening until a soothing black. A loud buzzing noise echoes through my ears like a headache.

Snip
It smells—it smells like perfume. A soft perfume, not too overbearingly sweet. Something was draped over me, my face was buried into a hard and flesh like object. One of my arms was attached to something, making it raise above my head.
A hand softly pats at my head before moving an annoying piece of hair away from my face. The soft touches and the soft white noise make it easy to fall asleep again.
A hand.. a hand? My eyes snap open onto a black dress, the lady Beneviento had my head next to her dressed thigh and was sewing up another smaller dress. A dress for a doll? I then looked at my hand, which was tied up to the headboard of the bed we were in. She had seemed to notice me stirring awake, my small movements, and my open eyes.
She grabbed at my face with tight fingers and pulled it up to her scarred one. Her grip was claw-like, she turned her head to the side—almost in a patronizing manner—keeping her cold face close to my gaping one.
"Don't try to escape me again." Her hand dragged from my cheeks to my lips before softly patting the bottom of my chin twice. A sickening smile grows on her face. My head falls back onto the pillow as she lets go. The lady Beneviento turned back to her sewing, relaxing in the same comfortable pose she had before.
Giggling was heard from outside the room, soft footsteps tapped back and forth making me look at the closed door, but I slowly turn towards her again and rest a little closer to her waist. She doesn't say anything. Chattering dolls and the muffled waterfall only contribute to the ambiance of House Beneviento, making me slowly drift off again.
[A/N] Hey, leave some requests here. It won't be certain that I will complete them, but it might give me some inspiration. Thank you! Again, those requests might not be written anytime soon, they are only meant as a bit of inspiration for me as my free time is starting to be limited as school is around.
