The setting started at school. I was a freshman and I made it to the big university with a playground, a loop of stairs and scary eyes of people.

I was walking along the hallway of the building, then, I remembered that this school is somehow familiar to the past dreams I had. It was so big that it was suffocating. When I got back to the classroom, I did not get inside because I wasn't feeling it, instead I watched myself ditch the first subject of my nursing course. I finally decided to roam around and somehow, students in my class decided to roam around too. How badass can I be?

Then, I started my way to the loop of stairs. It was annoying at first since I had to make turns and the stairs were wide. I know some students and I know their personality, I just can't pinpoint which. Then, I bumped into a professor while I was roaming around the hallway filled with students with their bags, I guessed it was dismissal. I roamed around so long that I didn't know that it was already afternoon, but isn't it too fast? I thought.

As I bumped my way to the professor, she was an old lady with a crane and a tote bag, imagining the lady in Howl's Moving Castle but a little realistic. She has platinum short hair that has patches of no hair and she has white skin with freckles. While we were walking, I greeted her and I was as shy as I was.

"Good morning, ma'am," I started. Students were staring along the hallway, imagine the hallway of a state university when you go upstairs. Boys were hanging themselves on the barricades of the hallway, they were staring deadass. It was maddening and I hated their stares, as if I was their meal.

"Good morning," She replied.

"I heard you were a strong woman, what did you train yourself for?" The question startled me while we walked upstairs and boys feast their eyes. They were like monkeys on the loose.

I didn't know what to say but I was sure of my mind. In the timeline of events, I became a firefighter and this is the first day of my nursing course.

"I'm a firefighter, ma'am," Boys heard what I said and they didn't take their eyes off us.

"Impressive-" Her line was cut off when someone approached her. I was planning to leave her side so I said "I should get going, ma'am,"

Then I made my way to the grounds of school, I didn't know why it felt different to be in a school that doesn't look like one. As I made my way out, some chick went by my side. I knew her actually but I felt something was off.

There was a huge playground inside the campus grounds, it feels like we are going on field trips. Some students were excited to roam the school grounds and go inside the playground. As I turned my head right, I saw a terminal that leads to - I'm not yet sure, it was unknown for me that I won't bother myself discovering.

As we walked on the red-tiled ground, someone yanked my hair so hard that my head leaned backwards. I turned around and punched him hard. We were fighting in the way when the chick held both of my arms to prevent further harm to the guy.

I was barely hurt.

I continued walking on the red-tiled path that's still unknown for me to where it may lead us, curiosity kills the cat, but not the mouse. I went inside a familiar place, I'm back in my dad's house, I thought. I went to the people who played billiards inside of our house, when an earthquake shook us.

I covered my head and found a cover for myself, everyone did too. When the earthquake stopped, we waited for about a few minutes and after that, we went outside. Knowing that these people who played billiards have motorcycles, I feel like I'm all alone and fucked up. I'll die at this rate.

The guys with motorcycles immediately ride their babies to the west side where the only exit of the subdivision is located. I'm left alone with the people who don't have one. I should be careful and be fast. Then, the people who were with me started running like crazy maniacs. Only two of them didn't run and stayed with me - Joven and Coco - the guys who simped both me and my sister.

"Shit." An invisible thread sliced their heads off. I'm lucky I didn't run.

Wait, how did the first ones didn't get killed if the invisible threads are tied to the posts on both sides of the road? Some asshole is having a laugh at this moment. The idea of me being alive is great but being left alone with two dumb people will give me headaches.

"Uhm, uh, I--" Joven stuttered from fear and I didn't want to comfort him. "They're dead?" Coco is still in shock and I can't even fathom the idea of being with them. Duh, they're dead, I kept to myself.

A loud throaty growl of a motorcycle roared the streets. They're coming back?

"Don't!" We signed in the air that they shouldn't come near - the guys again with their motorcycles coming back to our place. "Shit." Their heads sliced off and their blood splashed to our faces. I'm stuck with these two and people received their stupid deaths.
