Chapter 7: The Red Palace

"Argh... Ahh..." Chi woke up with a massive headache. He tried to touch his head, but something prevented him. He soon realised he was strung up in chains at the scene of the crime, Naked. His huge balls hung free in the air for all to see. They still hurt bad.

The number of guards in the room had doubled. Some of them still had their weapons drawn and pointed at him. Two bulky palace guards stood on either side of the strung up Chi, brandishing their whips.

The Queen was there stretched out on a plush settee with a domineering aura about her, overseeing his punishment. She was now fully dressed. Chi was a bit disappointed. He stared into her eyes. She gazed back, then he guided her gaze downwards to his balls, winked at her and flashed a proud grin.

Rosa was pissed! She lifted two fingers.

Whushh! Whussh!, one of the bulky guards struck Chi with his whip!

"Ah! Wait!", he cried

Whu-whassh! Whussh!, they struck him harder.

"Please Wait! I sincerely apologise Your Majesty, but I have an urgent message for you.", Chi spoke up bravely.

"Shut up!" Whussh! Whussh! Whussh! , the annoyed palace guard whipped him even harder.

"Ow!...Ahh! It's a private message from the Old Soul at Author's Peak.", the Curer smartly added. His name-drop immediately caught attention.

Rosa signalled the guard to stop and walked up to Chi.
"Tell me why I should believe you. And choose your next words carefully. They could mean for you, the difference between life and death.", she threatened.

"Your Majesty, I have his seal, and a note from him. They are in a waterproof compartment in my cloak. Please take a look. It's an urgent matter.", he stressed.

"Waterproof compartment? Your crime was truly premeditated. How lecherous!", the whipping guard commented.

"Search him. Bring me the seal and the note.", Rosa ordered.

The note and seal were found after a rough search. The queen looked through them.

"Everybody out.", she ordered with a straight face.

"B...but Your Majesty...", concerned voices responded.

"I said out! You dare disobey?", the Queen raised her voice. Everyone shrugged, bowed and filtered out of the bathroom quickly.

"Little Lee is here in the Palace?", Rosa asked the moment they were alone.

"You know his son?... How?...", Chi asked, surprised.

"I'm the child's godmother, and a long-standing friend of his wife, Celine. I wedded them. It was true love... but now, Celine... Poor Zee. How is he?", she asked, saddened.

"Not doing well at all. He wants to resurrect her.", Chi replied. Rosa wept silently. She knew what Celine meant to Zee. It was an unbearable loss for her as well. Celine was like a little sister to her.

"Oh no... There's no time to cry now. I have to save the boy.", Rosa said, wiping her tears, struggling to compose herself. "You're an idiot, you know that? A real nutcase of a pervert.", she smacked Chi.
"You almost ruined such an important mission. I've got to go right now." Rosa hurried off

"Hey! Get me down first!", Chi called out to her.

"Oh right! Guards!", the Queen called. They came back in. "Whip him till I get back!", she ordered with a smirk.

At the Red Palace.

The Red Palace was a grand castle, more intimidating than beautiful. It honestly looked like Elsa's icy castle in the Disney movie, 'Frozen'. It was a magnificent masterpiece of an ice sculpture, and so was His Majesty when Fushi requested audience.

"Why do you disrupt my peace Fushi?", the intimidating Red King asked, freezing the court.

"Forgive me, Your Majesty, I deserve death", a trembling Fushi lay prostrate before his Red-haired perfection of a king.

"Rise. Speak." His Majesty extended his sceptre, signalling his approval.

"Thank you, My Lord. I have here, a Green-striped child..."

"I see no green stripe.", His Majesty cut Fushi off.

"He is disguised my Lord, by some sort of magic stud. We have tried, but we cannot take it off him. It creates an explosion on contact. There is, however, an amulet brooch we recovered that bears the same power of disguise. My Lord, if you will observe..."

Fushi pinned the amulet brooch on himself, and transformed into a huge monster, and then into a stunning beauty.

"Hmm...Fascinating!", the Red King analysed the effects of the amulet. He smiled, pleased to have a rare treasure. 'Never in the Old World has there been a specimen quite like this. So an amulet made of the glow-sap of the Green has the ability to transfer spiritual power! Remarkable! Imagine the possibilities...', he thought silently.

"The boy's stud does the same?", His Majesty asked.

"Yes Sire.", Fushi replied.

"And his mother?"

"Dead my Lord. She got in our way." Fushi replied.

"Any news of his father?" His Majesty inquired.

" Not yet sire. He's definitely Green-haired, probably hiding in the shadows. He'll be crazy to come for the child. That will practically be suicide."

"Take the stud off his dead body. I don't imagine it will stick to the dead.", the Red King declared Oga's fate!

Pearl was overjoyed. She calculated that since the King was pleased with the confiscated amulet, her purse would burst from the weight of the bounty. She could barely contain her joy.

AUTHOR'S THOUGHT

*Backstage

The Author sips a cool drink.

The Author: Ahhh... that was a long chapter to narrate, but at last, Fushi gets his just desert! Hahaha!! Who's next?

Everyone backstage points at Chi...

Chi (still strung up, in chains, naked at the Red Queen's bath hall)

Chi: Hey! Haven't I suffered enough? Someone get me down now.

The Author: Rises with thick, dark thunder clouds and shiny mischievous eyes and floats towards Chi with an evil laugh...
