Esme halofield had a passion for football just as much as anyone else who played the sport, she never played professionally but she would always find time to kick a ball around, even when she was little, all she wanted too do was kick a ball around instead of playing with dollies like the other little girls in her year, that's probably what made her an outcast from her year, leaving her with no one.

'Ugghhhh' Esme groaned as she turned around still half asleep and slapped her hand on her alarm clock. 'Esme, I've made breakfast' Taylor her best friend and roommate told her before leaving her room.
'Guess I've got to get up then' Esme groaned one more time before pulling the sheets back and getting out of bed, the warmth leaving her body. She stomped down the stairs before finally reaching the kitchen grabbing her porridge and sitting at the table. 'Where's my bacon sandwich?'Esme asked. Taylor rolled her eyes, 'you know you have training tomorrow so you can't be eating unhealthy'. 'Sorry mom' Esme added with a sarcastic tone in her voice.

Once she had finished breakfast she walked back upstairs too get ready for the long drive down to London for the up coming euros.

If you're wondering why she is going, every year she goes down too the training grounds too help out and have a kick about with the England team, most years it's different teams and this year it is a new team which she hasn't met yet, she loves going down and being able too play football everyday without fail. The only reason she is going is because of gareth SouthGate the England football team manager, he was her uncle and knew how much she loved football, ever since she was 14 she would come down and help out a little bit.
~

Esme had too quickly pack her suitcase. She wasn't very organized when it came too things like this, she didn't like stressing so she always left it to the last minute, it was her way and that's what she became used to. She threw in some jumpers, leggings, trainers, summer tops and shorts, and lastly her football gear, you never knew with the British weather what it was going too do, one day it could be lightning and the next day it could be the start of a heatwave.

She grabbed her phone and charger off her bedside table before shoving them into her backpack and making her way downstairs.
'I'm off now Taylor, I'll let you know how it goes ok'' Esme shouts from the front door not knowing where her best friend was
'Yes that's fine, good luck' Taylor shouts back still not revealing her location.

She grabbed her keys, put on her shoes and began to get her things into the car, she hauled her very large and heavy suitcase in the boot before getting in the car, turning on the radio and speeding off.
