seven | the three-way battle

LOTS HAD HAPPENED over a short span of time. Atsushi and Kyouka got attacked by the Port Mafia, and then both the mafia and agency were attacked by the guild. Then... Kyouka went missing.

However, the agency ended up having to go in hiding. In their hiding space, a Zoldyck child hummed happily as Yosano styled her hair.

Suddenly, footsteps were heard and [Name] looks over at the stairs to see the President, "boss!" "Listen, everyone." He said as everyone looked at him with serious expressions.

"At one time... perhaps two or three days ago, there would've been a path to avoid war... but that path has been closed to us now. The Mafia seeks to exterminate our firm... the Guild seeks to usurp it." Fukuzawa explained, "We must protect the agency from both of these looming threats. Dazai, explain matters."

"My pleasure!" Dazai exclaimed as he gave a closed eye smile, "We are outmanned by the Mafia and out-financed by the Guild. A full frontal attack, even with our skills, will just make us crack our heads open. So... we'll divide ourselves into offense and defense squads.. and fight back with some underhanded sneak attacks. The key mission of the defense... is to keep Yosano here alive and well. With her healing skills... we can keep ourselves healthy, as long as we don't die. Whether that's a happy thing or not, well..."

Kenji lets out a laugh while Atsushi sweatdropped.

DEFENSE TEAM
FUKUZAWA, RANPO, YOSANO, KENJI

"Then.. we'll have two offense teams. Using Tanizaki's stealth... and my skill-annulling ability, we'll strike the enemy's flanks." Dazai explained.

OFFENSE (TEAM A)
KUNIKIDA, TANIZAKI

DAZAI, ATSUSHI

"And lastly... [Name], you will basically be a midfielder, choosing where and when you want to defend or attack." Dazai adds on as [Name] smiles and nods.

MIDFIELDER

"The most vital part of this.. is that we keep our base a secret. If our foes plow into this building all at once... our defense won't stand a chance." Those words that flew out of Dazai's mouth made [Name] frown. "I need to protect them." [Name] whispers under her breath.

Ranpo cutely yawned loudly, "I'm so bored! I wanna go ouuut!" "Do that, and either the mafia or the guild will lop your head off." Yosano responded boredly.

"Has our surveillance spotted anything?" Fukuzawa asked without looking up from his book. "For now, it couldn't be more boring." Yosano answered his question. "Ask [Name] if she sees anything suspicious." Fukuzawa ordered while Yosano gave a small "yes sir.'

Yosano grabs the walkie talkie and gets on a line, "Anything suspicious, [Name]?" However, there's no response.

"[Name]?"
