Ashton
I walk into the hospital and ask for Calum Hood, I'm giving the number of the room and walk towards the lift.
A
Lia is there, she told me she would go with Evelyn to get the dresses and then she would come here.I knock on the door softly and walk in. I'm greeted by a smiling Asian guy sitting up with a book in his hands.
"Hi, you must be Ashton." He says. "Come in, Lia said she would be a little late." He leaves the book on the side while I sit in the chair next to him.
"How are you feeling?" I ask.
"A little better." He smiles. "I feel extremely tired, I probably look like shit." He laughs nervously.
"I think you look great." I smile.
Is he blushing? Oh my god he is blushing. Okay calm, calm, deep breathes.
"So what you reading?" I ask.
"The fault in our stars." He shows me the book.
"I haven't read it yet, is it good?" I say looking at the cover.
"It is, Luke bought it for me yesterday, I've almost finished it." He smiles proudly.
"Have you got a girlfriend that can visit you or stay over at night?" I ask.
"No." He says. "I dont think anyone would want to date me anyway." He sighs.
"I'm sure there is." I assure him. "Theres always someone for everyone." I say.
"Yeah." He smiles. "I'm actually gay." He tells me. "So its a little harder." He sighs.
"Have you tried online dating?" I ask him.
"No, I already have a crush but he is straight." He looks at me and I start freaking out inside.
"Oh right, maybe he is bisexual, you should ask." I give advice trying to stay still.
"I should actually, When he gets here I will." He smiles happily.
"Hey guys." Lia walks in. "I'm sorry I'm late." She pulls up a chair next to mine.
"What happened?" I ask her.
"God damn Evelyn, that little bitch. I dont even know how she thinks she is going to marry Michael." She complains.
"Yeah..?" Calum says wanting to know about the details.
"Well I found the perfect bridesmaid dress and tried it on and when Evelyn saw me her face dropped and she was looking at me funny.." She pauses.
"And like basically she told me not to get that dress because I looked better than her." She snorts. "So I bought it anyway and put it in the back and she came out with her dress and saw mine and basically almost ripped my head off." She leans her head on my shoulder.
"What did you do?" I ask her.
"I just talked back to her, I'm not frightened of the bitch, I'll tell her how annoyingly fake she is and tell her how I know she has cheated on my best friend." She huffs. "Next time I'll slap the bitch." She says.
"Sounds like an attention seeker." Calum sighs.
"Big one, loves the attention, she tried on like 50 dresses just to get the staff members to compliment her." She sighs. "Anyways, how you doing?" She smiles pulling a plastic bag up onto her lap.
"I've been better." He smiles.
"Well I brought you some stuff." She puts her hand in the bag and pulls out a couple of things. "A colouring book, the 3 books from 50 shades of grey, cards to play with someone and my laptop so you can watch Netflix while you are here, but promise you will look after it."
"Thats great!" Calum beams. "Thank you so much." He smiles. "I do promise, I owe you one." He says.
"You can just look after me when I have a melt down at work." She chuckles.
"We better go, Luke will be here in a minute." I tell Lia.
No, I'm not jealous.
"All right then." She smirks. "Dont stare at the lap top too long." She waves to Calum and walks out of the room.
"That was nice of you." I say walking along with Lia down the halls.
"I'm just that good with people." She smiles.
"I know."I wink at her and sigh walking off to the car.
"So I have a new patient." I tell her opening the car door.
"Yeah?" She smiles getting in.
"Her name is Olivia but they call her Lia." I say and she just glares at me with wide eyes.
