Me and heather were working late tonight because our mother wasted her paycheck,again. but it was okay because it was closing time! "Heather! it's time to close up!" Heather walked over to the cashier. "well i'll make sure all the books are on the shelves you close up the gate." i nodded and walked over to the gate and almost closed it but it got stuck. "ugh stupid thing. oh Ryan! come help me close the gate." Ryan laughed and walked over and tried to help me. "it won't budge."

~time skip~
"go lock up your store i'll go find heather!" Ryan waved and walked out of the store and heard someone whisper his name. "what?" I looked at Ryan. "i didn't say anything dummy." he looked away and kept walking.  "heather? where are you?" heather walked over to me "here sorry i was picking up some books." i smiled and heard a small thud by one of the shelves. "what was that?" heather walked over and laughed. "just a book!" i walked over and froze when i saw the man standing behind her. "H-Heather?" she turned around and screamed. he lunged at her,stabbing the book she had in her hand. "Heather! Run!" i tan for the exit crawling under the gate. "Y/n Wait for me!" i put my hand under the gate and pulled heather out form under the gate.

Me and heather ran screaming for ryan as we entered his shop. "Ryan! Help us!" i screamed while going behind the counter. "call the police." i said quietly to heather she nodded and grabbed the phone dialing 911. "hello? i'm at shady side mall-" i saw the man in the skull mask looking around for us. i grabbed heather and ran to a different part of the store. "he's in here" i looked at heather and got scared of another skull mask on the wall. "Heather!" the man came up behind her and cut her in the lower abdomen. i ran as fast as i could out of the store tripping over my feet. "God damn it!" i struggled to get back up as heather ran out and grabbed my arm pulling me up as she ran. " he's behind us!"

next thing i knew he stabbed heather in the back. "heather!" i shoved him. he stabbed me in the lower stomach. "No!" he pushed me to the floor and grabbed heather and stabbed her right in the chest. "HEATHER!" I screamed while i sobbed holding my hand over my mouth. Heather used the last of her strength to pull his mask off. it was Ryan. all along. "r-Ryan? it's me,please." heather said those words as i saw officer Goode  come into the mall and shoot him right in the head.
