How long Julia had been trapped in the net was uncertain now. Her battery had died almost an hour and a half after her last ring to Rob and by now it must've been something around two maybe? Her neck felt stiff and the skin above her ankles was harshly bruised with dry blood coating it, but she wasn't worried about herself - how could she be worried when her younger sister was released from school in less than an hour and expecting Julia to already be there. What would Angel do? Would she wait; for how long? But she was a smart girl now, she could look after herself just this once.

Right?

"H-hello? Is anyone ther-" Julia's broke out into a loud cough before she could even finish her small cry of help. She felt dehydrated now and she wished she had never entered the forest in the first place.

Lexis couldn't help but feel as if something was going to happen. His hands were clammy and cold shivers ran down his spine every so often. He was at Roma's not so long ago but he had left feeling uneasy and as if nothing was going to go right. He had sat at the usual booth with the guys and his already bad day got worse when he didn't see her. She was always in work, was she not? At the thought of her being absent because something ill-fated had happened to her put him on edge even more. His leg would not stop shaking and his eyes kept darting around the café as if she would magically appear out of nowhere; it was until Rowan pointed out that lexis was beginning to worry them as well did he calm down. Slightly.

Now he was scouting the forest restlessly, trying his hardest to pay attention to his surroundings and any possible threats. His mind would not take a break and his thoughts were a mess of what ifs and how's. The forest was clean and busy with insects and wild rodents that ran to hide when he came near. Craning his head up, he could just about make out the silhouettes of the various birds that inhabited the forest. He could hear just about everything, from the chirping of crickets to the rustle of the leaves as they moved with the light wind. The forest was truly beautiful.

He continued walking along an imaginary path - knowing very well but at the same not knowing at all where he was going. He just wanted to walk around her for a while, take in the scenery and the fresh feeling that came with being in the forest. His footsteps were light as he hummed the only tune he knew, his hands were stuffed into his pockets and he didn't want to go home. Not just yet anyway.

After walking for a good hour he turned to his left, his destination now was the back, or front of the forest depending on how you saw it. It was where most hunters left their traps - none of them were too keen on venturing too deep into the forest in fear of the rumours about this place being true. Lexis. However was confident that these rumours were not true at all, so he walked at a faster pace in hopes of finding a free meal. As he got closer he began to eventually run, rushing through the familiar maze of trees and ignoring the branches that would hit him every so often.

Lexis stood at the foot of the first net trap he had found.

Empty.

Letting out a groan he moved over, being cautious as he avoided the different types of animal traps. He looked around the ground in hopes of finding something but when there was no luck he began searching the trees in the hope that the traps up there could provide him with a meal.

His light brown eyes scanned the area for the second time when he found himself tripping over a rock.

Wait.

Rocks aren't soft.

He looked down at his feet, his hands resting on the bark of the tree he had used to support himself and a wide grin broke out onto his face. Bending down he untied the net trap from the large deer and held its leg up. It was dead. Lexis frowned at the thought of the deer being dead but then realised that he would have done the same, and his mood uplifted a bit at the thought of not having to personally killing the deer. He hated that.
