THIS WAS THE FOURTH LETTER I SENT THIS MONTH. I had no idea of knowing whether or not the recipient could receive this but I was hopeful. I put my quill down and headed upstairs to Harry's room. James was trying to get Harry to put a shirt on while Harry was flying on his toy broom which was a gift by Sirius. We allowed Sirius, Marlene, Remus, Dorcas, and Peter to come over a few weeks after Harry was born but that was the last time we saw them. Peter didn't come. Remus and Dorcas got clothes and baby supplies while Sirius and Marlene bought toys for our son.

"I leave you alone with Harry for two minutes and you destroy the nursery," I said. In an effort to cloth Harry, James had knocked over his toys and the small cupboard of Harry's clothes. It looked like a tornado had hit the room.

"It's harder than it looks," James panted "Harry James Potter you get down here!" I laughed as James leaped across the room to try and catch him but ended up slipping on the carpet.

"Aren't you going to help me?" he groaned.

"You can be so thick sometimes," I said "You graduated from a magic school. You grew up with wizard parents and you used said magic to defeat many dark wizards. Use your wand!"

"Harry threw my wand somewhere and I can't find it," he said. I sighed and shook my head. Harry started lowering his broom and started rubbing his eyes. I picked him up and put him down for a nap.

"The kid has your talent for quidditch," I said, watching Harry so the thing he so rarely does, sleep.

"He does, doesn't he? Let's just pray that the rest of him comes from you," James said "We are doing pretty well so far aren't we?"

"We are," I agreed "I could do without the crying."

"Lil, he's a baby, he is going to cry," James said.

"I was talking about you," I said.

"I'm sorry he's just so beautiful!" James said.

There was a little fluttering noise. James and I raced downstairs with our wands out. The panic evaporated once we found out that the fluttering noise belonged to an owl. I took it and read it aloud.

"Dear, Prongs and Progsette. I'm happy that baby prongs loves his toy broom. I can't say much because not much has happened. Wormtail as planned, has gone into hiding. I am acting as a decoy like we planned. If Prongs has any doubts about being a parent, just remind him that he and Moony basically raised me. We miss you so much and we can't wait to meet baby prongs. With all our love, Padfoot," I set the letter on fire and disposed of the ashes. This was the first letter I had gotten from any of our friends. It was nice to know that they got my letters.

"You know, sometimes I think that Padfoot just annoys me for the sake of annoying me," James said.

"Someday I'm going to tell Harry about this boy I used to hate," I said "He used to annoy me and bully my best friend and was just this awful person."

"Yeah? What did you do with him?" James asked.

"I married him," I answered. James rolled his eyes and smiled.

"I just hope he has a good life, with friends and family, at least one epic love," James said "And adventure. Loads of adventures! He is my son after all."

"Speaking of... adventure," I said "What happened to your invisibility cloak?"

"Dumbledore took it," James said sadly "So that I wouldn't sneak out."

"We're going to be okay," I said "We are all going to be okay." Me, Harry, and my no-so-secret admirer.
