Forgotten Memories

A/N: I lived, mochas! Sorry it's been so long but travel, travel, and more travel prevented me from writing. This chapter will end in something people don't usually like, and the next one will end the same way. Please don't throw tomatoes at me...*Goes and hides in underground bunker* T-T

Everything was going well for me...that is, until Shadowmoth decided to akumatize someone else from my school.

'Awesome, just awesome', I thought, as Alya made an excuse to the teacher so I could slip away and transform into Ladybug.

"Tikki, spots on!" And I flew? Yoyoed? Went? to go fight the akumatized villain. "I AM FORGOTTEN MEMORIES AND I CAN BRING BACK MEMOROES YOU DON'T WANT TO REMEMBER LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR GIMME YOUR MIRACULOUS!"

And that's when I remembered something that my mother had told me a week ago.

"Mom, why don't I remember anything from our time in Japan?" Marinette had asked.

"This is a matter of politics and secrets, honey. Even I don't  everything. I also can't tell you everything. But I can give you some details. You see, Japan officials are watching our every move" Sabine gripped Marinette's hands tight, "They will immediately hunt me down if I told you anything important about your previous life in Japan. But I can tell you some things. About Izu-kun...we lived right next to his house. There was also one more boy that you were friends with. He had red eyes and spiky blond hair...and you two would usually fight. But he was very fond of you. I can also tell you that you were very smart for your age, so smart that I had you homeschooled to make sure you were being challenged.

" But Mom, why did we move then? And...what was the name of the boy? I have so many questions..."

"That's enough. I can't tell you any more... but you know that heat you feel sometimes in your hands? Focus it."

" What do you mean? Mom? Mom!"

"I can't tell you more, sweetie. You can run from your family, you can run from your past...but it will always catch up to you, no matter how hard you try", and Sabine left with a somber look on her face.

That was the day I learned I had a quirk.

As I punched and flew at the villain with Chat Noir by my side, I tried to push away my thoughts to avoid getting sidetracked.

"Chat Noir, I think the akuma's in the necklace," I screamed while dodging all of those attacks. "Got it, Ladybug!"

Chat Noir and I had revealed our identities to each other and the backup heroes, and we'd formed sort of a group working together to defeat Shadowmoth. It certainly takes the pressure off of only two people. We decided it was easier to be just friends, because we both put each other on a pedestal. We didn't actually know each other. Besides, Chat was happy with Kagami. If he was happy, I was happy.

I flew across the road and into a building. There were mostly no cars, but there was one van. I closed my eyes tight as the pain took  hold. Tikki probably protected me, but the hit was probably so hard I'll have bruised ribs nontheless. Which is when I opened my eyes and saw green eyes. Light green, full of care and concern.

Green eyes....I knew those eyes....

"Are you okay, Miss?", Izuku asked as I picked myself up and flung myself at the villain once more.

Sooo what did you think? I'm probably gonna die. Good thing I'm safe in my tomato-proof underground bunker. See you next time, mochas! :)
