Zee POV
Kara put me down on a bench and told me she was gonna go get me some water, as she left a man approached me.
"Hey beautiful, whatcha doing here?" He asks me
"Oh I'm just here with some friends" I replied
"Hm I don't see them anywhere, how about you and me go off somewhere" he says with a smirk on his face
"No thanks, my friend is about to come back" I say annoyed
"Well she's not here-" he gets cut off
"Hey bud I'm right here" Kara says with her arms crossed
She is taller than him and she is really buff so when he turned around he got intimidated by her.
"What are you trying to do here?" Kara asks him
"Oh I'm just talking to her you know?" The man says
"Well you need to back off because you are making her uncomfortable dude" Kara says in my defense
"Well I-" The man starts but gets cut off by Kara
"Beat it twerp!" Kara tells him
He gets scared and runs off
"Hey you okay?" Kara asks me
"Yeah I'm good, wanna go to the ferris wheel?" I ask her
"Uh sure" Kara says
We walk over to the ferris wheel and the sun starts to set, as we get to the top the ride stops then a speaker comes on.
"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, but the ride has temporarily stopped, we are sorry for the inconvenience" The speaker says
"Well thats great" Kara says
"Well it's not necessarily a bad thing..." I rest my head on her shoulder
"...at least we can enjoy the sunset together" I say
"Yeah I guess, this is pretty nice" Kara says
We enjoyed the moment when I felt sleepy and drifted off, then all of a sudden I hear my name being called.
"Zee, Zee!" Kara quietly says
"Hm?" I perk my head up
"Sorry to wake you but, the rides over" Kara says
Then I realized that I was leaning against her shoulder, my eyes widened.
"Oh Kara I'm so sorry about that!" I say jumping up from her
"Nah your fine" Kara reassures me
"Oh okay" I say
We walk off and it's night time
"Hey Zee you want me to walk you home?" Kara asks me
Afraid of being alone I say yes, so we walk to my house and just as she is about to leave I wrap my arms around her neck and pull her in for a hug. I do this and she slowly puts her arms around my waist. We pull away slowly.
"Good night Kara" I say excitedly
"Night Zee" she says calmly
