They were going through an exercise to change the colour of their hair. They each picked up a mirror and began to practice. Nadia made her hair fully purple. While Bloom that was sitting beside her was struggling. Having failed she side sadly and put down the mirror. Class ended and the girls went back to their dorm. Bloom was in Stella's room as Flora and Stells tried to help her do the hair change spell.
"Just try and concentrate Bloom. Concentrate on your magic" Stella said.
Bloom took a deep breath and tried again. Her hair started to rise up in the air but then she stopped and her bangs stayed up in the air. She groaned in frustration and fell back on the bed.
"I can't do it," she said
Nadia then walked into the room and sat beside Bloom.
"Still can't do it?" she asked and Stella and Flora shook their heads in response.
NADIA'S POV
I took her hand in mine, she sat up and she turned her head to look at me and I looked at her with a small smile.
"It's ok Bloom. You can do it just concentrate. Do as I do." I said.
She looked at me for a moment before slowly nodding her head.
"Ok. Now close your eyes and breathe slowly. Feel the energy in your body. Try to feel where it's the most concentrated. Do you feel it?" I asked watching her
She nodded her head.
"Good now try and channel that energy throughout your body down the tips of your hair. Imagine the colour you want. Concentrate your magic into your hair." I said slowly releasing my hand from hers.
I watched as her hair slowly started to sparkle changing to a lighter shade of blue. She then opened her eyes and looked at us nervously.
"Well?" she asked unsurely.
I simply put the mirror in front of her so she could see.
"I did it," she said astonished marveling at her first intentional magic spell.
She then turned to me and pulled me into a hug thanking me over and over again.
I smiled gently at her and said "I'm always here if you need help"
I then left to go to my room. Evening came quickly and with it I went to Red Fountain to help the boys with night training as requested by Professor Saladin.
I created a portal and step through it to see the gates of Red Fountain where Professor Saladin and Cordatorta are awaiting my arrival.
