"Mom, I forgot to mention I invited the twins over for breakfast" Betty mentioned making Alice tilt her head "The twins?" She questioned "Jughead and Y/n/n" Betty corrected. As if on cue, the doorbell rang, the two waited outside in comfortable silence until Alice opened the door. "Come in" She coaxed the two into their home, plastering her face with that fake smile of hers.

Y/n was eating her pancakes, and so was Jughead they planned this, just a little more time and they'll be so close to finding Polly. "So, Jughead and Y/n, I think I have to thank you for Betty's obsession with the Blossom's case" Alice mentioned crossing her arms over the table as Y/n innocently looked at Jughead who then stared at Betty. "Actually Mom, it was me who asked Jughead and Y/n to come and write for the Blue and Gold" Betty replied making Alice chuckle "Relax Betty, I'm just making conversation" The older woman replied. Betty then raised her eyebrows motioning to Jughead who then kicked Y/n's feet under the table "Ow" Y/n groaned as she soon got the signal.

"You guys have a bathroom I could use?" Y/n cleared her throat before wiping her lips. "Oh, I'll show you" Betty stood halfway only for her mom to interject. "No, I'll show you, follow me" Alice stood up walking away. Y/n motioned her head to the two before leaving the dining area. Betty and Jughead rushed towards Alice's purse, grabbing a notebook and taking pictures of every page, hoping that one will lead and pinpoint the location of her sister.

"The sisters of quiet Mercy" Betty read out loud, Y/n typed in the words to her laptop in search of its location or of its purpose. "It says here 'Home for Troubled youth', sounds real sketchy to me" Y/n narrowed her eyes at the screen before Betty and her brother leaned closer to look for themselves. "Where disenfranchised teens will learn such virtues as discipline and respect, enjoying lives of quiet reflection and servitude." Jughead read before scrolling further finding its address. "Poor Polly" was all Betty could say. "So I'm coming right?" Y/n questioned "Yes, of course you are, but I'm not" Jughead responded making the two girls look at each other.

"Why not?" Betty asked "Y/n's got the get away vehicle, plus two people is normal, three's unlucky" He explained "Okay, next week, I got to go" Y/n looked at her watch before grabbing her laptop and dashing out of the door.

"Veronica, I didn't know you could sing" Betty commented "Like a nightingale" Veronica retorted back sending a wink to Y/n. Little did they know, a certain red haired girl was intently watching and staring at the Jones girl, seeing her occupied by the friend group, made her heart clench for some unknown reason.
