Summary: Alice, firm and outspoken, has her stubborn moments. Having to admit she's at fault would take a toll on her ego that she quickly developed while being Blood's lover. His attitude rubbed off on her, what should she do? //// note - !a gentler Blood!

Residing between the Amusement Park and the Heart Castle is a busy plaza. 'Shopping galore!' as Vivaldi liked to shout in the streets. But while the Queen enjoyed the shopping aspect of it all, Alice found comfort in a different lens. What allured her to this certain area in Wonderland was its familiar atmosphere; it reminded her of home. In her kind heart, an attachment developed.

With a joyous stride, she ventured through the plaza as she carried a gift bag of Blood's favorite tea. Indecisive to which tea Blood valued the most, she bought both black tea and Flowery Orange Pekoe. Hopefully, Blood would satisfy her with an answer next time if he wasn't so 'busy'.

These past time periods she hasn't spotted Blood in his own mansion or on others' domains. It exhibited odd behavior as he's always at her door, smiling down on her and kissing her when the chance arose. But that feeling was now lost.

She hoped her little gift would act as a good way to genuinely apology for her slip up. The slip up that put her in a world without Blood there; sitting beside her drinking tea while Alice shared her thoughts on a book she borrowed from him.

At first, roaming around the streets of the town uplifted her dejected spirit and reminded her of where she used to shop with her older sister. But the normality was quickly ruined by an excessive amount of weapons being accessorized.

Bedazzled with weapons from waist to back to chest was the Mafia, her partner being in charge of it all. Not only did it ruin the scenery but it also made the passing faceless feel threatened and Alice can recall a number of times where she scolded Blood about it. If he was still annoyed from her seemingly harmless act, then it would explain why he did not listen.

"Alice? Alice, hey!" The twins were absent and the only ones beside Blood's left arm were faceless subordinates. Elliot, his right-hand man, was thrilled to see her.

"Hi, Elliot!" With Blood being out, her time with Elliot skyrocketed and they'd often chat about mainly carrot-related desserts but she didn't complain. Seeing his face reminded her of the carrot cookie she just bought and decided it was best in the March Hare's stomach. "I'm not really in the mood to eat so take this."

He was ecstatic, one can tell when his eyes took the form of stars. "Seriously, Alice?! How are you not in the mood for this?!" When will he be sick of any consumable carrot-related treat? She'll never know.

Silently listening in wasn't Blood's forte especially when it was a man that grabbed Alice's attention. At first, she was prepared to not hear a single peep out of him but his jealousy cannot be underestimated. "I had no idea you fancy Elliot's mad obsession for carrots." His eyes shifted to her small paper bag. Beneath his typical, impassive gaze, there was a certain expectation he wanted to be met. "What have you bought, young lady? Is it more carrot-filled treats or a gift for another?"

His smug smirk and subtle chuckles was his regular go-to when teasing her. And this was misleading as Alice now wasn't sure if he's been annoyed at her or not. Besides that, she couldn't help feeling upset. She's waited for him to cool down or to talk to her but here he is, teasing because he feels envious. To Alice, it meant there was never a plan to see her. "The latter, actually."

He cocked an eyebrow.

"I just thought I'd pay a visit at the Clock Tower. Bring some coffee as a house-warming gift." There's nothing that infuriated Blood more than when Alice added further fuel to his bitterness. Now that she had a better look, his eyes were gentle and screamed that he was in a satisfied state once meeting eyes with Alice. But once that reply came out, it was foggy and returned to desolation. The smug air around him dissolved and his wide grin dropped to a frown. Even the men behind him knew this mood shift would lead to trouble.
