When I woke up, my head was against the window with Collin's weight on top of my legs. Apparently, he had fallen back asleep and moved to snuggle with me. He was really cute when he slept. His arm was cradling his head while the other hand was covering his eyes. I slid my ninja turtle pant covered legs out from under him and got up to go to the bathroom.

The bathroom was just a small box looking room, covered in red, white, and blue. The American Airlines logo spread across two of the four walls, right above the toilet, which was relatively clean for a public toilet. I shut and locked the small door and gripped the sink, staring at my shower-less, groggy self. The water clicked on automatically when I put my hand under the faucet, showering warm water on my hands. It was the loudest thing on this plane, since everyone was still asleep. I looked at the clock on the wall that read four- thirty. Just as the thought of landing soon came in my head, the intercom came on, reporting that we had only twenty minutes until landing and we should all be in our seats as soon as possible. I shut off the water just as there was a knock at the door.

“ I'll be out in a minute!” I shouted, still quiet, not wanting to wake anyone else.

“ Okay, take your time. I just need to brush my teeth.” A familiar voice chirped from the other side of the door. It was high- pitched and almost annoying, making me want to open the door and smack her...

I opened the door slowly, trying to see who was on the other side of it.

“ Morning!” Cindy's blond hair hit my eyes and blinded me before I could even guess who she was.

“ Morning-” I trailed off, not wanting to make conversation with her.

“ Hey. When we land in Portugal, do you want to hang out? We could be shopping buddies, and BFF's for life!” Oh. My. God. Kill me now.

“ Huh- Oh yeah. Sure.” I regretted the words as soon as they left my lips.

“ Yay!” She squealed in my ear as she passed me and shut the bathroom door.

“ Yeah, sure. You can have the bathroom now. It's not like I could have been using it still...” I said to myself.

The red carpet lined the isles of seats that held over a hundred passengers. I was in the seventh row, right in front of Cindy and to the left of Timothy and Becca, who I hadn't seen since last night.

“ Hey, ginger.” Collin teased.

“ Not funny.” I glared at him.

“ See, you have no emotion other than anger! You are a true ginger.”

“ Shut up and let me in.” I tapped his legs, but he just kept them there, so I kicked the back of his knee, leaving him clutching onto his right leg crying out in pain. “ Hey, I told you to move.” I smirked at him.

He dropped his feet from the chair in front of him, only long enough to let me pass, then he put them right back up on the seat, getting a few dirty glares from the couple in front of us.

“ Sorry, not sorry.” he muttered mostly to himself, sending out laughter from behind us. Ugh, Cindy. She has this act where she tries to act stupid because she's a blond. Only problem, she's so good at it, I actually think it's just her acting stupid. I don't know what it is about her, but she gives me bad vibes. Like the one that you get when you see someone, and you automatically judge if you like them, or want to punch in the face. Just first impression, I guess.

“ Ten minutes until landing, folks. I advise you to buckle up. Please, if you are awake at this time, wake up passengers around you and tell them to buckle up also. Thank you for your patience. We will be landing in no time.” The pilot said firmly over the speaker.

“ Help me out?” I smacked Collin in the ear, telling him to shut off his music and help me wake up the passengers.

About five minutes had passed, and there was only a few passengers left, but the flight attendants insisted they would wake up the rest.

I looked out the window as an airport came into view.

“ Please buckle up and prepare for landing. Thank you for riding American Airlines. I hope you enjoyed your trip.” The plane bounced on the ground, skidding to a halt. Everyone jumped out of their seat, but half of them sat back down, listening to Mr. Even's command.

“ Children who are going to Portugal, sit down so I can get a headcount.” He pointed to each of us, mouthing numbers. I was seven. A smile landed on my face, as Collin rested his hand on my thigh. Our eyes met and we both laughed at each other's faces. He stuck his tongue out like a four year old and crossed his eyes, making a few people around us laugh.

“ Alright, buddy up and stay together. Try not to get lost. We have one more airplane ride, then a short bus ride, then we will spend the rest of tomorrow unpacking and getting settled in our first hotel. When we get on the bus, I will hand out schedules for the whole six weeks.” His rose his hands, indicating for us to stand and leave. Collin grabbed my hand and lead me out of the plane.

Four minutes later, we were all gathering luggage and heading for our next plane.

One more day and I will be standing in Europe.

Sorry it took so long. Not only does school stand in my way right now, but I had to get over a SERIOUS case of writer's block. I have the next few chapters worked out, so just bare with me. I hope you like it so far! I promise, the rest of their traveling will be short and to the point. THey should be in Europe within the next two chapters. Thanks for reading  :)
