5. Non binary reader

There will most likely be spoilers for season 2 episode 6 so if you haven't seen it yet I recommend you go watch it.

Also let's just pretend that GG is in hexide and in the same class as you cause I want to do a school thing. And you're both in illusions.

While sitting in class not even listening to what the teacher is saying.

All of a sudden Mrs. I dunno, asks me what the answer is.

"Uh, 12?-" I reply.

The teacher, says

"No, this is illusion class."

I sink down into my desk and the kid next to me laughs. Oh yeah, that guy is my one and only bully and always has been since elementary.

"Haha! Y/N, you're do stupid, how are you even in hexide?" He says

"Hunter! Don't say that to them! Go see principle Bump."

He growls at me then walks out.

Dear lord I hate him so much, but at the same time I pity him, his family is very poor and can barely pay rent, he is also a powerless witch, luckily one of our classmates is a human and helps Hunter.

(OMG MY DOG IS SNORING AND IT'S THE CUTEST THING EVER😭)

Time skip to after class

I put my books back into my locker and begin grabbing the ones for my next class until I see an arm which seems to be cornering me, immediately knowing who it is, I turn around seeing Hunter in all his glory.

This is surprising, he never cornered me before, so now I get a close look at his face.

Blond hair, red eyes(bakugo that you?), a scar on his left cheek. Now that I'm really looking at him, he's kind of hot.

"You." He starts,

"You got me suspended for a week! I never get suspended. I hate you so much, I could kis- kill you!"

Huh? He stuttered, Hunter never stutters!

"Well for one, you got yourself suspended, I never made you start bullying me. And two, what were you going to say before kill?"

He just stood there dumbfounded. Then blushed, either out of embarrassment or anger, probably both.

"I- uh. Shut up! If you actually paid attention in class and studied more I wouldn't be laughing at you!"

And with that he walked away, I'm not sure if he was telling me to pay attention and study in a rude way, or an attempt to be somewhat helpful.

I assume it's not the latter considering all of his bullying.  But it still feels nice to think someone who isn't my parents might care about me.

Then the bell rings so I scramble to get my stuff, dropping most of it on the way. I luckily don't have Hunter in this class so that's fun.

I manage to get in class before the teacher, I go to my seat in place everything I have down and find out that my only friend is absent which sucks.

Suddenly someone runs into the class I can't see who. They have their hood up covering their face.

The mysterious person walks to my desk and places the stuff I dropped onto my desk with all my other stuff. I get to see who it is, it's Hunter! How nice, he brought my books and paper to me. Wait, he should be in class.

"Shouldn't you be in class?"

That makes him realize I know who he is.

"I'm going home soon, I got suspended idiot."

Oh right...

"Why are you bringing my stuff to me though?"

"Someone else would've claimed it as their own." Then he leaves.

How odd.

Time skip to after school lol

As I walk out of the school I notice Hunter is sitting under a tree, normally I would ignore it, but I see him crying. I walk to the tree and drop my backpack to the side.

"Hey, why are you crying?"

Hunter looks at me, looks away, wipes his tears and says

"I'm not cry *hic* ing"

I sigh and sit next to him.

"Are you sure, I'm here if you want to talk."

He looks at me with his magenta teary eyes.

"But- I've been bullying you since elementary school, I'm an absolute jerk, I have no good reaso *hic* n."

"I know that, but everyone deserves a chance, now tell me what's wrong."

Hunter looks away

"I don't want to talk about it right now..." He replies

"Well, what do you want to do then?" I say in a soft voice trying not to startle him.

He's so vulnerable right now.

"I... Uh, it's stupid so there's no point in asking... You should just leave, I'm wasting your time..."

I sigh and lay his head on my lap.

"That better?"

Hunter nods and close his eyes.

I start stroking his hair realizing how soft it is.

"Wow, your hair is so soft! What shampoo do you use?"

No answer, guess he's asleep.

I stroke his face lightly, his skin is so pale. How much sleep has he been getting? Sadly I accidentally woke him up.

"Huh?... Oh hey Y/N... Wait, Y/N?!"

And he's back to his senses.

"Hey."

"What am I doing in your lap?!"

He gets off.

"Dude You haven't been sleeping for that long. How do you not remember?

I see his facial expression change, and he blushes remembering what happened.

"...Oh. Just act like that never happened!"

"No, tell me why you were crying."

"It's just that I- nevermind it's not important." He gets up to leave but I pull him back down.

"Tell me." I say in a stern tone.

"It's just that... I'VE LOVED YOU EVER SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL STARTED BUT I COULDN'T TELL YOU BECAUSE I WAS BULLYING YOU IN ELEMENTARY SO I KEPT UP THE ACT AND HELD MY EMOTIONS IN UNTIL I COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!"

Huh. Wasn't expecting that.

"I uh- that's a lot to take in. I guess we could try a relationship though. It'll take a while for me to get close to you though." I say.

He looks at me surprised.

"Wait... Really?!" He asks.

I nod my head and kiss him on the nose.

Hunter then proceeds to hug me a little too tight.

It's 7am... I've been working on this since 5am.
