Into The Past

It was midnight. All was still....except-

"Adam!"

I reared the corner of my street.

"Wait up!"

I pushed forward on my unicorn bike. I biked faster and faster, trying to catch up to him. The street lights were dim and the road was bumpy. Soon the figure in front of me came to stop. I got off my bike as well, not prepared for the image ahead of me. I ran toward about to hug him, but stopped dead in my tracks as he turned around.

This wasn't my brother. This was a man wearing a black suit and sunglasses that were so dark, they covered up his eyes and shaded his upper face.

I layed eyes on the blue hoodie on his back. I froze again not knowing what to do. He had my brothers hoodie. It was splattered in red dots... A lot of red dots.

~~~~~~~~
Fearing the answer to my own question, I yelled: "What did you do to my brother."
The man hesitated. He finally made up his mind.
"That's none of you're concern, child"
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!!"
The man now looked around. Making sure no one was looking or listening, he said his next words really slow and quiet.
"Get. In. The. Car."
I looked around. Confused. There wasn't a single car in sight.
"What car?"
Even If there was a car, I wouldn't get in it.
The man, too, now looked around in confusion. He sighed and tapped a few buttons on his watch. I hadn't noticed the watch had been there at all until now. Hmm... that's weird.. I could've sworn I didn't see that watch a second ago. It sort of just.......appeared on his wrist.
Then there was this loud pop. I yelped in surprise, taking a few steps back, causing my bike to fall against the concrete. The metal hitting the ground echoed throught the trail. There was a car on the trail just like that.
"Now get in the car!"
Now I was really confused. I did know that there was no way I was getting into a car with a complete stranger. And he did something with my brother.
"Not until you tell me where my brother is"
"I said get in the car, child, I'm losing my patience." The man hissed.
So I decided that the best thing to do was call for help. So I did just that.
Now, the man started toward me, but dropped something on the way. It was shining in the moonlight. Curiosity got the best of me, and without knowing it, I was agreeing to get in the car.
As I was walking toward the car, I picked up the thing that the man dropped. It was a book, but not just any book. It had a jewel encrusted inside of it and vines growing on it too.I shrugged, thinking it was just any old book.
But little did I know, that this specific book, was what would lead to either the end the world, or free the world of all its troubles.
Not in a million years would I have thought that I would be in the position that I am now. Never. Ever.
