VII - Runaway

George's Pov

I start pacing to my room, my butler trailing behind me, trying to convince me that I shouldn't lock myself in my room. That it's not the 'proper manner of a prince'!!! My butler doesn't let me do anything, or even Make My own choices in life!!!

This is Unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable, why would they make me do this?! Why on god's green earth would my own Mother force me to marry Prince SaPnAp! I mean what kind of name is Sapnap, sounds Retarted. I can't stay in my room forever. I mean, i could, but i would starve and get dehydrated fairly soon cause i haven't drinken something in a while. But what am I gonna do? I can't run away.... Or can I?

I started packing all of my belongings and the essentials in a bag that I found in the basement. What am I gonna need? Clothes, brush, uhhh, food. Crap, I didn't grab any food from the kitchen.Uuuggghhh. Why didn't ---- uhh, forgot what I was complaining about.

I dash down to the kitchen, slide down the railing, and plop onto the tiled floor. I skim my finger across the cabinets, reading the labels searching for something. Uhhh, Greens, peppers, spices, ahh, Rations for princes that are planning to run away!!! Wait, why is there a cabinet for my exact purpose?

"Because, I changed the label."

"Mom, Uhh, Fancy seeing you here!"

"So, you're planning to run away with no plan, no idea of the human world, and no toothbrush?!"

"MOM, I..... That's a good point, I forgot to pack a toothbrush."

*Sighs*

"That's not the point."

"I know, I know, your gonna convince me not to go, and say it's for the kingdom---"

"No George."

"I want you to go."

"Say what now?"

"Do you actually think that I want you to marry prince sapnap?"

"George, I have a plan, leave the castle grounds, once you're out shapeshift into a dragon and pretend to be hurt. But stay close to the wall!"

"I don't see the point in this..."

"They will probably take you to whoever is in charge."

"But why am I staying close to the wall?"

"So if at first glance it is enough for humans to kill you, you can easily fly back over."

"Wait, you're gonna take down the barrier!?"

"What? Of course not, your royalty, the barrier doesn't affect you!"

"All this time it didn't affect me?!?"

"Ugggh"

I leave my backpack behind, and shape shift. It's been a while since I've shape shifted. I have completely forgotten how beautiful my scale looks, purple ish blue with golden patterns. No time to brag, it's time to finally leave. As I started to come closer and closer to the wall, I wanted to hesitate, to look back at what I was leaving. But there was no time to. But before I could do anything, I got shoved, at max speed across the wall, and landed uncomfortable on the ground.

"What the?"

I turn around to see a fox? Wait a second, the fox has a head band, and is very big for its natural size. Wait, It's Not Even A Fox, It's Prince Sapnaps Wolf Form!!?!

"What ARe You DOing HerE" I tried to whisper to him but it still sounded like I was yelling.

"Your Mum Asked me to accompany you, just in case it doesn't work, we should get to know each other!"

"Great, now I'm not just stranded in the middle of nowhere, because when you bumped into me It sent me flying, far away from the wall. I also am not great in the rain!"

"Rain? What rain, it ain't raining."

"I can see into the future..."

As I finish my sentence, thunder claps and I am surrounded by hail, wet trees dripping water onto me, and a wet smelly dog trying to hide under my wing to keep dry.

I shape shift back into a human, and told Sapnap to do the same. As I started to lose hope, wandering around, not finding the wall or any kind of civilization. I start to see a dim light in the distance. I grab Sapnap's and and start running.

"Ahhh, wHeRe aRe wE g0iNg?!" Sapnap tries to say and e run across the wet bump floor

"Towards the Light!"

We arvie at a small cabin. I mean it's pretty decent sized for humans, but tiny for us. I walk up to the front door, and knock lightly, but just enough to be heard in the pouring rain. I hear some muffled voices in the cabin. I think they are arguing. Though soon enough footsteps arrive closer to the door, and somebody opens it.

By the looks of his crown, I believe He Was A Prince! He had glossy emerald eyes and slightly noticeable freckles scattered around his face. I had no words, I got lost in his stare until everything started to become unblurry again.

"Umm, Can I help You?"

I hesitate to say anything.

"Umm, uhh, me and my, uh Brother! Got lost in the forest."

"and we were just seeking shelter!" Sapnap cuts in."

"Oh, Uhh, I actually don't own this cabin so I'm not sure if."

"They Can Come In."

A voice cuts through the shadow,

"I have reason to believe that is the owner of the cabin?!"

"Umm , ya, he is"

"Well tell him that we are--"

I Quickly slam the door. To stop sapnap exposing us.

"What the hell!?"

"I think we should just lay low. We are just some mere peasants that are lost."

"Ugggh, since when were you in charge?!"

"Since now, so Shut Up."

I opened the door again and they let us in.

"Sorry, me and my friend were just talking about something."

"Friend I thought You said i was your Brother"

"Uhh, He is my friend, I just care so much about him, like a brother, soo, i mistaken him a lot for the brother i never had..."

"Oh ok."

I'm terrible at lying. Absolutely terrible.
