Chapter 13

We got to the top of the ski lift and got off. Cam and all the other boys were already here. I looked down the mountain and started shaking a little because it's been awhile since I've been on the board. I look over at Virgo and she smiled at me. I gave her a nervous smile back.

Before the boys went down, I taught Virgo how to control the board and how to stay on. Once she got the hang of it, we walked towards the edge.

"You ready?" She asked. "As ready as I'll ever be." I said back. "Come on Meggan. You got this. You're a pro at this." Nash said wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

I looked up at him. "Ya but I haven't been in the board for awhile. I'm gonna be a little rusty and I'm scared I'm gonna hurt myself." I said looking down the slope. "Hey, look at me." He said. I looked at him. "If you get scared, I'll be right here. So will everyone else. Right guys?" All the boys nodded their heads.

"And don't forget, I'll be with you if you fall since I'm new at this." Virgo said coming up and putting her hand on my shoulder. I turned and smiled at her. "Ok. I'm ready now." I said getting in position. I looked down the slope again and took a deep breath.

I feel someone come up behind me. I turn and see Hayes. "Hey, you'll be fine. From what I've heard, you see like a pro at this. I'll be behind you in case though." He said looking in my eyes. I smiled and looked down being shy.

When he was looking in my eyes, I felt those butterflies I got last time. He has those eyes you could just get lost in. They looked like the ocean but brighter. Not as bright at Nash's though.

I started scooting down the slope. Once I started heading down, I bent my knees a little and straightened my back. Man it felt good being in the board again.

"WOO-HOO!!" I shouted. Virgo comes up next to me. "Dang girl, you are good." She said. "Thanks. You're doing great for your first time." "Thank you. Watch out for that rock!!!" She yelled. I looked, but it was too late. I hit the rock cause ing me to fall. I landed on my back with an oomph.

Once I caught my breath, I started laughing. "Oh my god!!! Meggan are you okay?" Hayes asked coming down next to me. "Ya. I'm fine. It wasn't that bad." I started laughing. He joined me later on.

"Here, let me help you up." He said sticking his hand out. I grabbed his hand and felt electricity go through my body. I blushed a little but he couldn't see it. "Thanks." I said after he helped me up. We went down the slope together, laughing all the way down. When we got down there, all the boys and Virgo were down there waiting in us.

"You okay little sis?" Cam asked. I nodded my head.

We spent the next hour or so snowboarding. We all started getting tired, so we went to our rooms. I put on a pair of sweats and a Grey shirt.

I was laying in my bed and Virgo was laying in hers when there was a knock on the door.
