"Madam, here's the financial report of Paymat as of last month."

Rain stopped typing in her laptop as her secretary named Theo said the words. She moved her eyes from her laptop and nodded for him to enter.

When the post for the position of her Secretary was made, the company received a total of 47 applicants of which there were only 3 males who applied.

She was present at the office when her aunt did the interview. She personally wanted a male secretary but the first wasn't intelligent enough to answer the questions thrown at him then entered a male who's about 5'11 in height with small frame. He's 25 years old based on his resume. He calmly took a seat in front of my aunt and answered all the questions sensibly. He always had a blank face from start to finish. I knew that moment that even if I won't say anything, aunt Ysa will choose him for the position.

And for the past two years, he has proven how efficient and effective he is as my secretary. I couldn't have been more happy to have him.

She reached for the papers in her Secretary's hands and looked straight at the digits in the receivable accounts. Her eyes furrowed when she noticed that it didn't change. She remembers correctly that they have a collection to make last month.

"Who didn't pay yet their credits?" She asked in a neutral tone as she stared at Theo.

"Linda Hart asked for a leeway madam and said that she's your aunt so the person in charge who doesn't know about your relationship with them agreed right away."

Rain scoffed before she chuckled.

"Oh Dear Aunt. If only you had treated me as your niece.. send her a demand letter with a due date of 2 days from now. If she fails to pay, tell her to talk to her lawyer already." She said as she stood up from her chair and turned her back as she looked outside. The sun is beginning to set.

"Understood madam." Replied Theo before leaving.

Rain looked at the sky which looked like a painting drawn by a very talented artist. It's fascinating and the sunset is the only thing which kept her calm and contented before because of the serene vibe it gives to her.

How shameless. You're recognizing me as your niece now just because I am now the CEO of Bella.

Linda is the wife of her uncle Norman who is the brother of her father, Ralph. And she stayed with them when she became an orphan. Her mother, Ailin, died when she was just 6 years old. She was too young back then to understand what's happening. She didn't know anything about her parents but she learned about them as she grew up. Not in the way how some people ask a child to sit down and patiently try to make them understand things. She learned about them while she was being beaten, yelled at and mocked.

Rain felt her heart being squeezed as she remembers that day they kicked her out of the house. She gritted her teeth and stared at the sun as it fully dissapears in the sky.

If not for her aunt Ysa, she wouldn't be able to stand on her own.

Not far from the house where she spent her lost childhood and where she got kicked out , Rain was walking with a blank stare. She looked like a lifeless young lady walking at the side of the road. With the rain pouring and her arm hurting, she thought of what to do from now on.

A car stopped at her side but she didn't care. She just continued to walk lifeless.

Suddenly, a black shoes which belonged to a lady came into her view. She stopped walking and felt that the rain stopped pouring on her. She looked up and saw an umbrella. She then moved her eyes to the person holding it and was met with a gorgeous lady with a cold stare. She had short black hair which reached her shoulder, snow like complexion and sharp brown eyes which looked familiar when they locked eyes. She opened her mouth to say something.

"Are you.. Rain?" The lady asked softly.

Rain just stared at her while trying to remember if they have met before but she can't seem to remember if they had.

However, she nodded at her question.

The lady's eyes softened for a little bit before turning cold.

"Why are you walking here without an umbrella and without shoes?" Rain noticed the change in her mood but either way, she doesn't know why she felt safe with her so she answered.

"They kicked me out." She said softly while looking into her eyes.

She noticed her breathing deeply. She seems to be calming herself.

Why is she mad? Rain wondered.

"I am your aunt Ysa. The only sibling of your mother Ailin."

Rain's eyes widened. Surprised to know that her mother has a sibling. The people who were once her guardian sure never mentioned anything about it. She noticed the similarities they share the longer she looked at her. The heart shaped face and eyes looked the same with her.

The little hope that was slipping through her fingers before she appeared in front of her suddenly grew. Throughout the years, she has learned to tell who is good and who has ill intentions. The lady peering down at her, though appears to be cold feels like a warm person inside. So she believed her words.

'I have another aunt'

Tears welled up in her eyes as she smiled and lunged for a hug. Her aunt was surprised by the sudden hug but smiled and patted her head.

"Will you take me away?" She asked as she wiped the tear that's threatening to fall from her eyes.

"That's why I am here."

Right from that moment, Rain knew that everything will be different.

She loves her mother's surname which is Andrews but she decided to retain her father's  since that's the only thing that she can keep from him. She hates her father's family but considering those that her aunt Linda told her about her father, he seemed to have been kind and fair. It's just too bad that she haven't had the chance to meet him. There were photos of him that she found in the attic. Most of it were stolen and that's how she found out about her aunt Linda's love for her father. It was not Uncle Norman that she loves but her father.

Her heart stopped beating when she heard the shout of her Aunt Linda from behind. She wanted to keep at least one picture of her father so she hurriedly stuffed one in her pocket. Her Aunt pulled her hair and dragged her across the floor. In addition to that, she was given no food for 3 days.

Her blood rose to her head. Everytime she thought about the past, all she can feel is resentment and the desire to make them pay for all the things they did to her.

And that's the ultimate goal she has set in her life.

Her aunt, Ysa, owned Bella, a fashion company which is the biggest in this country and is making a name of it's own outside.

Ysa made her learn about business management and accounting at a prestigious school overseas and she graduated with honors thanks to her determination and persistence. It all bore fruit in the end and two years ago, at the age of 23, she took charge of the company.

Last year, Bella acquired a lending company called Paymat Inc. Her Aunt is friends with the owner who begged her to buy the company for it to be saved since it is continuously losing profits. Her friend didn't want the company to fall into someone she cannot trust so she talked to Aunt Ysa and the latter assured that it will be handled accordingly. Not long though, her Aunt gave it to Rain. After managing the finance of Paymat, it's appropriate to say that Rain was able to build it again and now it is competing for the position of the most trusted lending company in the country, second to True Hand based on the latest survey this year. Which is how Linda, her aunt, was able to borrow money from it.
