VALERIES POV

I've always hated change. Especially once you start to get used to things, and it all gets fucked up. That's a great way to explain my life, fucked up. I mean sure, some people would die to have my life, but I don' t see why.

Let me start with home life. My parents are usually away on a 'buissness trip', even though my sister & I know they just want to get away. I can see why. People are held to high standards here in Wilimington, North Carolina. And if you don't meet those standards, you're either invisible, or punched.

I guess I'm doing pretty well. I mean, I'm not popular, nor am I considered "lower class."

Oh yeah, another thing. Let me explain 'classes' to you here at Wilimgton High School.

  There are 3 classes.

Upper class, middle class, and lower class. Populars being in upper, norms being in middle, and losers in lower class. The systems pretty fucked up. But, we all follow it for some dumb ass reason.

Now, actually attending the school is a completely different story. Don't even get me started on that. Everyone at school is just sad and lonely, they're all just to drunk to admit it.

"Valerie, I have the best idea!" I turn to the right of me to see my bestfriend, Jaycee, holding a purple piece of paper close to her chest.

Oh Gosh, Jayce, you never have good ideas." I rolled my eyes chuckling as I started to open my locker, listening to her explain her plan.

"Okay, so there's this party tonight at Tate and Julie Harrel's house. We're gonna crash it!" She smiled excietedly, showing me the invitation.

I grinned and examined the invitation. "Two things. First, how did you get this?"

I frowned holding up the invitation. She smirked and shrugged.

"Maryln Burt isn't the brightest, she didn't even see me take it."

I laughed loudly and shook my head. "She's a bitch. And second.. how exactly do we 'crash a party'?"

I chuckled handing her the invitation back.

"This will never work." I got my math books out of my locker and looked over at her as she grinned evily.

"I have ideas. Be ready by 7:00 wear something comfortable, I have the outfits all planned out" She shoved the invitation into the locker that we shared and hurried off to history, smirking.

 ***

6:30 rolled around as I was just stepping out of the shower. "Shit." I mumbled as I stumbled out of the tub. I laughed at my clumsiness and finished 'grooming' myself. I changed into sweatpants and a light t-shirt. I looked in mirror and couldn't help but giggle at my lions mane. I straightend it quickly, only burning myself twice.

At 6:56, I got a text from Jaycee telling me to come out outside. I grinned and ran to her car, almost tripping.

"Hey brat." I said to her, sitting in the passenger seat of her overly-clean Corvette.

"Well hey bitch, are you ready?" I look over at her and let out a little chuckle as she stepped on the gas, driving to the Harrel house.

"Okay so listen, It's a small party so we can't technially 'crash' it, but I had a much better idea." She kept her eyes on the road as she spoke.

"What do you mean?" I messed with my seat belt, nervously. She looked behind her, then pulled into the Walmart parking lot.

"We need to grab a few things, come on."

A few things ended up being two full carts, and only half of one is going to be used for tonight.

"So here's the game plan. The Harrel house is a couple blocks down. We go dressed in this," she pulled out a totally black suit that covered your whole body. I shook my head at the sight of it.

"Then, we're gonna go in, spray paint some shit, and throw some eggs. You down?" She grinned a special kind of grin that always meant trouble.

"Let's just go!" We squealed at the same time as she began driving again.

We arived after a few minutes and it was already getting dark. I looked over at their house.

"Wow. Rich little fuckers." She mumbled as she started to get out.

"Jayce wait." I grabbed her arm.

"That's Evan. I can't do this." I took in a breath, closing my eyes.

"Oh come on Val. It's just a little crush. You'll be wearing this anyways."

She smiled and threw a black suit at me, slipping on her own. I shook my head, doing the same.

"Shh, Val you're too loud."  After about 10 minutes of me chickening out, we had finally made it to the side of the house.

"Come on, it'll be fun. Got your spray paint?" She looked over at me and I shook the paint.

"Let's do it." I whispered, beggining to spray paint on their house.

"What are you writing?!" I said to her as I finished my "Fuck You All." She giggled and stepped back, taking off her black mask.

"Fuckboys and Sluts.  It explains them perfectly." She smirked and threw her can on the ground.

"Now, the best part." She laughed and ran to her car for the eggs.  While she was gone I stepped back to admire our artwork.

"Okay, Tate, you're turn." I heard a girl voice say loudly from the backyard. "Shit." I started to run back to the car when Jaycee walked up.

"They're in the backyard." I said quickly.

"What?" She responded, opening one the egg cartons. "They're all back there." I whispered, standing closer to her.

"Perfect." She grinned and put her mask back on.

"Here. Just throw at them." She giggled and ran into the backyard. I shook my head but followed, regretting it as I threw the first egg.

"WHAT THE HELL! WHO ARE THEY?!" Many people screamed as all hell broke loose. I mean, everyone seamed to enjoy it, excpet Tate and Julie, of course.

Once we were all out of eggs we looked at eachother, not knowing what to do.

"BAIL!" She screamed and we both ran back to the car.

The only thing I remember hearing as I was running back was, "they were some pretty cool people! Made this party a whole lot more interesting!" By the one and only, Evan Williams.

Not gonna lie, that made me smile more than actually throwing the eggs did.
