Quick note: ALL of the school scenes will be during some kind of break, lunch, free period or after school. In order for the characters to meet, I have to do so. So if you're thinking "They seem to be doing everything but school,"well you're...wrong. They are studying, it would just make no sense to explain all of that and devote scenes entirely to it. So no, they're not going to school just to talk all day. I just need to explain this, so no one will be confused. 🙂

Shiva's POV
I held my breath as I saw her standing there. The school uniform, the pigtails, the pottu (bindi, little dot on forehead). As she turned her head to us at the bus stop, it looked like she stepped right out of an old picture.
Whatever she does, it's beautiful.
I broke out of my trance.
No, stop it. You can never be together.
She walked towards us to the bus stop, smiling like a kid and sat down next to Neelu.
A few minutes of chit-chatting, we could see the large green bus coming from far away. We all stood up, I stood next to Harsha.
"Do you think I 'll survive in school? Do I have to speak english with an Indian accent?" she suddenly asked.
I stood there confused then chuckled.
"No you won't survive in school. Not with me around. And you might have to tone down your accent a bit or else no one will understand you."
She pouted to herself, and made a face.
"Cute," I said quietly, still chucking.
She turned her head quickly to me (it might have snapped).
I stared in front of me quietly, shoot, I said that out loud.
"Did you just-"
"The bus is here."
She continued to look at me as she climbed onto the front of the bus, and I in the back.
(Usually in India, at least in Kerala I believe, the females climb on the front of the bus, and the males in the back door of the bus, but really it doesn't matter)
________
Warning: Cringe alert
She stepped down the bus and waved bye to Neelu. She's in college so her stop is different.

"Hey," I called. Harsha didn't turn around.
"Stop trying to ignore me, you can't escape it." She still didn't turn around.
"Harsha." I yelled, stopping. She turned around, and we both walked towards each other. Anand beside me, Ranjan and Varun already went together to their class.
"Why didn't you turn around when I first called you."
"You called-oh. I thought you were calling someone named Hey." I raised my eyebrows.
"Hey, I don't judge people by their names, okay."
I shook my head.
"Go buy me a rose from that shop over there." I said pointing to the one across from school. (cringge)
"What, seriously you want a rose. Ah wait, who are you giving it to?"
"None of your business, just get me one, I can still tell you what to do and this is what I'm asking"
She scoffed, "Of all the things..." she said, shaking her head. "Give me the money."
I took out a 10 rupee note and gave it to her. She took it, crossed the road and talked with the shopkeeper. In a few minutes she came back.
She gave me a single rose.
"Here," she mumbled.
I smirked, and then the smirk broke into an evil grin.
She looked at me, understanding the situation but uninterested, "Ha, ha, ha so funny. Go get that to your girlfriend before she gets mad. You seem like the person who would forget to do anything to your loved one. On top of that, anything romantic," she said, rolling her eyes.
"Don't you think you're getting ahead of yourself? I never said I had a girlfriend."
"Pfft. What weirdo buys a rose for himself. Po po (go go)," she said walking away.
"Your hopes of making her jealous just backfired," Anand whispered next to me.
I stood there, the rose in my hand, a single petal fell down...slowly (A/N: hah what am I like this)
Does it not bother you one bit? Not one bit at all?
I thought you loved me.

A/N: I did not know how to put in romance and instead I put in cringe. I swear- I'll eventually die from cringe, yes, that will be the cause of my death. Cringe.
