Before I start the first chapter of this book, I just would like to say if anyone is homophobic or doesn't like the idea of Royce (I'd hate to be rude by saying this but). I don't give a flying fuck about your opinion. Just don't read the book, unfollow, block, whatever you have to do... just don't comment with your bullshit. K? Thanks.

"Jacob Perez, please come to my office, Jacob Perez, please come to my office,"

Jacob huffed his breath, sliding out of his seat  and proceeding out of the classroom. He walked at a snail's pace to the principal's office. What could she possibly want now? It seemed like he got called to see her every second and to be honest, it was annoying. He finally arrived at the door, knocking on the door.

"Come in," she called out.

Jacob opened the door, sliding in the office before closing the door behind him.

"Hello, Mr. Perez. Please, sit."

He sat down in one of the chairs in front of her desk, slouching and cocking his legs open. The principal looked at him in disapproval, but dismissed it .

"So... I bet you're wondering why you're here right now..."

He nodded in an an arrogant manner, folding his arms.

"You've been getting into a lot of trouble this year and you are very close to expulsion from this school. I would hate to have to expel you from this school, so I've decided to do a good deed for you. I've enrolled you to have sessions with the counselor, Mr. August." she said with a smile.

Counselor? Who wants to tell all their business and talk out feelings with another stupid human being? Everyone has their own problems, so there's no point of trying to fix someone else's. Besides, no one could fix Jacob's problems, no one understood him either. There was no point of him taking sessions for the betterment of himself. There was no point of giving his trust to someone either. All he was going to do was get attached and get let down in the end.

"You'll be attending sessions 3 times out of every week from now until the time you graduate. Your first session is today after lunch." she added.

In response, Jacob nodded and mumbled, "Is that all?"

The principal nodded. With no hesistation, Jacob rised up out of the seat, rushing out the door and into the hallway. He couldn't help but question how these sessions would go. Not that he cared or anything. He just hoped they went good...for the counselor's sake.

After lunch, Jacob walked to the counselor's office. When he got there, he stood at the door, staring at it in deep thought. Should he go in? He needed to go to these sessions in order to stay "grounded" Should he just leave and forget about the sessions all together? Going to sessions wouldn't make him change, let alone be a better person. Just before he could do anything else, the door swung open. A man with mild melanin, plump dark lips with a slight mustache, and a strong figure entered his sight, making his irises expand. His fierce Amber colored eyes laid on his, causing Jacob to melt.

"Hey, are you Jacob?" he asked in a baritone rang.

The vibration of Mr. August's voice tickled Jacob's ears. He was lost for words,  he'd never seen so much sexiness in his life. Noticing that he was technically drooling over him, he nodded quickly. The corners of Mr. August's lips pulled into a wide smile, exposing his pearly, white teeth. Jacob's attention went to his glistening sharp fangs, causing his knees to buckle a bit. Mr. August was a very attractive man.

"Oh, good. I was just about to come and get you. Come in," he stood to the side, giving Jacob space to come in.

He slid in the room, taking a seat on the Chaise Lounge. Mr. August sat behind his desk, powering on his laptop. He typed a bit before looking over at Jacob.

"So, you're Jacob, right?" he asked.

Jacob nodded gently. Mr. August nodded before typing some more on his laptop.

"As you should know, I'll be your counselor for the rest of the year. I know this is new to you and you might not like the idea of bringing up your feelings or trusting me but I'm here for you. Promise."

It's so hard to put your trust in someone when you've basically been lied to all your life. Would Mr. August really help him with his anger problems and keep him out of trouble? Most importantly, was he really genuine with what he said about being there for him and not misleading him?
