The Catastrophe

Prologue

We ran as fast as we can without looking behind the creatures that are coming in our direction. Because one wrong step and we are all gonna be feasted by these human flesh-eating creatures. And the only thing that's in our minds right now is to run for our lives.

Sweats are rolling down to my face and exhaustion is draining my strength. I want to stop running but I'm not dumb to feed myself to the creatures that are after us.

Screams and blood were all over the place and none of us have the slightest idea on what's happening right now, but the only thing that is in our minds right now is that we need to escape this place as soon as possible before the situation gets even worse.

Panic is taking over my system right at alam kong hindi lang ako dahil naririnig ko ang mga pagmumura at reklamo ng mga kasama ko ngayon.

"What the fuck is happening?"
"Oh my gosh! Why are they eating each other?!"

At dahil sa ingay nila ay mas lalong nagraramihan ang mga nilalang na humahabol sa amin.

"Stop blabbering if you don't want to be feasted with those
human-eating creatures, you two! Fucking run fast!"

Rinig kong singhal ng katabi ko sa dalawang kanina pa panay reklamo. I mentally thanked him for what he did dahil sisinghalan ko na rin sana ang dalawang kanina pa nagrereklamo kung hindi niya lang ako naunahan.

"Saan tayo pupunta ngayon? These damn creatures are all over the building. Mahihirapan tayong makaalis dito." rinig kong sabi ng lalaking kasama naman na nakasuot ng school uniform pagdating namin sa isang madilim na sulok ng hospital kung saan kami ngayon. We are lucky dahil nakita namin tong parte nato ng hospital kung saan walang mga nilalang na kumakain ng tao. We can stay here for the mean time but we can't stay here for long dahil mamamatay kami sa gutom and I know any moment from now, those creatures are gonna find us.

"I don't know. I don't even know what's happening right now. This day was supposed to be my last day of internship. Damn catastrophe!"

We don't know what's happening right now. Our plans was ruined because of this catastrophe, and I was supposed to die this day. Is this finally the end of the world? Funny how I've always wanted to die but now that death is chasing me, I'm fighting shit for my life.
