Prologue

"Luca?" Alberto asked as Luca sat on the floor of Giulia's room reading a book. Luca looked up at the boy. Luca nodded as if giving approval for him to continue. "There's a new girl in town. Everyone is saying she is La plus belle."

"What does that mean?" Luca asked confused. It must have been french. It always is. Alberto is the genius after all. Alberto smiled, proud that he actually new the meaning to this one.

"It means she's beautiful. I wanna go looking for her. She'll be easy to spot. I know everyone here." Alberto explained. After a big debate Luca finally agreed. They told Massimo they were going to get ice cream and left. Giulia decided to stay with her mom that summer so she wasn't an issue.

As Alberto and Luca walked around Alberto finally spotted someone he hadn't recognized and quickly dragged Luca over.

The girl was beautiful. Not just beautiful, she was hot. Hottest girl in town. Her hair was so silky and smooth the perfect tone of H/c. Her eyes were a beautiful E/c. And her occasionally little freckles spread across her face.

"Hi, can I help you?" She asked politely. Ahhh manors, Luca liked that. She smiled at the two. Patiently waiting for answer. The boys shook there heads no and she turned to leave.

"Wait!" Alberto yelled grabbing her arm. "I'm..." he paused and let go of her arm. "Alberto Scorfano." He said holding out his hand for her to shake. She cautiously shaked it a bit confused. She then looked at Luca.

"Luca Paguro." Luca said awkwardly. She giggled and gave him her hand. He shook it softly. Blush spreading across his already pink cheeks. Probably sunburn.

"Y/n, Y/n L/n. Pleasure to meet you!" She said cheerfully. They smiled at her and she gladly smiled back. The awkwardness now gone.
