"Hey buddy! What are you doing?" asked Fabian, who came up behind me and then pulled out a chair to sit next to me.

I looked up from my phone just as he was trying to catch a glimpse of the screen.

"Oh not much. I'm just checking Instagram." I explained and locked the screen.

"Checking out Instagram? I know exactly what that means these days. You've been looking at Y/N's new photos haven't you?" he replied with a grin.

"No, of course not!" said I defensively.

"Aha, give me your phone then." demanded Fabian.

"What? No!" I said, but unfortunately he was faster and grabbed the phone from the table.

I tried to take it away from him, but he skillfully dodged me. Then he unlocked the screen and looked at what I had been so fixated on. Probably I should pin the screen lock.

"Ah, yes. Just as I thought. Why don't you finally talk to her? I'm sure she'll like you. You have no reason to just pine over her from a distance." he said.

"Not going to happen. The first time I saw her, I made a complete idiot out of myself. Don't you remember that? I stuttered like a five year old and then, as if that wasn't embarrassing enough, I tripped and almost knocked her over with me," I explained to him, although it wasn't really necessary since he had been there.

"So what? You had a bad day. That doesn't mean you have to ignore her because of it. You obviously like her. Otherwise you wouldn't be looking at her pictures and liking them all the time," he said.

"I don't like her pictures! I don't even follow her account," I grumbled.

Again he looked at my phone. No idea what was going through his head, it was not important. Just as I was taking a sip of water, he kept talking.

"Well, you do now. And I liked a lot of photos while I was at it." he laughed.

Hearing that, I promptly choked and started coughing violently.

"What the hell did you do? Are you fucking kidding me?" I coughed.

"Nope. And if you don't take her out for coffee or something soon, I'm going to do it for you. I'm not watching this anymore." he threatened.

"You're not! Just let it go." muttered I.

"Why? What's the worst thing that can possibly happen? That she says no? And then you know and you can move on. But honestly, I doubt Y/N would say no." he continued.

"Seriously. Just let it go, Fabian!" I replied, getting up and walking away. I wasn't in the mood to talk to him any further about this topic.

A few days later I should meet with Fabian in a coffee shop for some coffee. Since the thing the other day I had not spoken to him and I assumed that he wanted to apologize to me.

I was still mad at him. I knew that he only meant well, but did not give him the right to interfere in my private life.

With a coffee in hand, I looked for a seat and waited for Fabian's arrival. As usual, he was late, but that was hardly surprising. When I looked at the door and discovered who was entering the coffee shop at this very moment, I had to swallow. It was Y/N and she was coming right towards me.

"Hi Marcel, it's nice to see you here!" she greeted me.

"Oh um... hey Y/N! How are you? I'm waiting for Fabian. We were going to have coffee together." I explained, really hoping I didn't sound as stupid as I felt.

I really didn't have the slightest idea why this woman made me so nervous. Sure, she was beautiful, but that wasn't all. Everything about her magically attracted me, even though I knew she was way out of my league.

Y/N POV

He looked so cute as he nervously slid back and forth in his chair. I tried not to laugh, because I was sure that would have given the wrong impression.

"Well, then I'm sorry to tell you that Fabian won't be coming. He sent me here. And before you get mad, I thought it was really sweet of him. Even if I would have liked you to come to me yourself instead of avoiding me," I said and saw his face fall.

I hoped he wouldn't faint or run away.

"Oh God, please tell me this is a joke," he muttered almost to himself.

"Come on Marcel. It's really no big deal. What do you say I grab a coffee too and then we go for a little walk. Spend a little time together and get to know each other. How does that sound?" I suggested, hoping he would relax a little.

"That sounds... that sounds like a good idea. I'll get you a cup of coffee. What would you like?" he asked as he stood up. I smiled at him, because I was glad he had composed himself a little.

"I'd love a latte." I replied and followed him as he went to the counter and ordered the coffee.

After that we went for a walk. Without a real destination. And it was really great. Marcel relaxed more and more. And I really enjoyed spending time with him and getting to know him.

And before we knew it, it was already getting dark outside. The day had passed in a flash. But what did not pass was the attraction that showed itself between us increasingly obvious.

Although I could not pinpoint an exact moment when the situation escalated, but here we were now.

Together we rolled around on the sheets of my bed and shared hot, steamy kisses. Our clothes had been scattered all the way to the bedroom. Slowly, his lips traveled down my neck. Sucking, nibbling, and kissing.

"That tickles!" I giggled with my fingers in his hair.

"Oh yeah? Good!" he asked softly, lifting his head to look at me. Marcel's eyes burned with desire. That look alone triggered feelings in me that demanded immediate relief.

I pulled him back down to me and placed my lips on his. Carefully, I took his lower lip between my teeth and tugged on it lightly. Immediately I was rewarded with a deep, throaty growl.

In these hours that we spent like this, I was glad that Marcel had overcome his shyness and hesitation towards me. All he needed was a little push in the right direction. Well and a somewhat pushy friend.
