The bell rings, everyone took a seat before I did, so I he's to sit by Eriq.. the most depressed guy in school. I really tried talking him.
"Hey, Eriq, did we have homework? " Jo whispered. But no answer. The teacher began to talk.
"Good morning class. I would like to see all of your homework from last night on your desk. Also, Eriq, I would like to see you in the hall please." Said the teacher loudly. Jo wondered what Eriq gotten into. He was just a lonely kid, what harm could of he done. Then, Eriq got up out of his seat. The teacher was out of the class room before he was.
" Hurry on now Eriq, we don't got all day." Said the teacher with little patients. Eriq hurried to the door, he look as almost as he wanted to cry, but that's how the poor kid looked everyday anyways.
After about 45 minutes of spit balls, gossip and loud, but irritating nonsense from the students, Eriq came back in the room. He looked the same from when he had left the room to go into the hall with the teacher, but then, she starts talking again.
"Sorry about the wait class, we had some stuff to talk about, ain't the right Eriq." Eriq said nothing. He just sat there with a blank, teary eyed face.
The bell rang, it was time for art class with Mrs. Uplinger. I hurried to that class fast because it's my favorite class. I liked to draw my favorite place, witch is the wilderness. Mrs. Uplinger love my drawings. I draw big, long, thick trees. When I get to her classroom, she starts talking.
"Morning class! I have finished you art books, all of them are graded already. So when I call your name come up and get them. But! Before we do that, we are gonna pick out what were gonna draw for our pop-Art project." She said loudly. I asked her If I could draw a forest.
"Jo, hunny, I know know you love the forest but your drawing has to be popular on social media." Said Mrs. Uplinger. I was sad, I didn't know what to draw so I drew Death Mouse.
After art class it was ELO, which means Extended Learning Opertunity. I slowly walked to class, I got hit by a bunch of people. I guess it was karma since I ran in the hall way ... pff who knows who I ran into. When I went into the classroom , once again. I had to sit in the back, but this time with guys who are perverts. I don't know why they hit on me, I'm a chubby, thick girl. I guess they like 'curves'...
"How you doin?" Said one guy with a smirk..
"Yah sweet cheeks, and not the face cheeks hun " said another and winks and slaps my ass as if I liked it. I give an disgusted look.
"Um.... how about no. Like, eww !" I shout to them.
"Mhmmm. Boys, she playin hard to get... Ain't that right momma " said the first guy.
"Ha, you wish--" before I could finish the teacher interrupted.
"Excuse me!! But I'm trying to teach a class here and all I could here is disgusting and unpleasant behavior. You boys, out in the hall and Jo, I will see you after class." She shouted.... just great. Another thing to ruin my day... the boys get up and leave the classroom. And the gossip began.
After it was time to leave... I was excited because I was planning to go to the forest before I go home. As I walked out of school I ran but I gave up after 7 minutes of running. I walked the rest to the forest. There. The beggining of where the forest ends. It was beautiful.
I walked into the forest, after a mile of walking and looking around my eye caught something. I looked around.... but nothing. A minute later someone or something came up behind me and squeezed the air out of me like a balloon. I turned around to see who it was. It was my best guy friend Dominic. We've been friends for 10 months and it feels like a year! I love the kid to death, he's always there for me!
"Boo!" Said Dominic.
"Jeez Dom, you scared the hell out of me!" I screamed
"Sorry, I just missed you. So I followed you here." He said sadly.
"Oh, don't be sorry, I'm sorry. And I miss you to!" I said as I did something wrong and gave him a bear hug.
"So what you doing here?" Dom said.
"It was horrible today, soooo.... I came here to let the stress go." I said exhaustedly.
"Oh! Sorry you day was terrible hun. Tomorrow will be better. New day is another beggining." He said with inspiration.
"Yes! Thank you." I said with a smile.
"Your welcome, oh Hey, it's getting late.... do you want me to walk you home? You have to say yes because you know how I feel With you walking alone in the dark." He said. I laugh and smile.
"Haha, yes, you may walk me home" i said with a relaxed voice. As we walk home we enjoy the sun set. No voices, just smiles and winks as we hold hands to my home.
