My Light

Those golden strokes over the violet horizon- Seems like the sky is celebrating too. 

It should be celebrating; because it's the most amazing day ever. It's my love's birthday. 

The only girl I've ever loved; my light, my angel. 

And I want her to feel like that. I want her to feel special; I want her to see everything I see in her. 

That's why, I'm going to give her the best birthday present ever. I'm going to propose to her for taking me as her better half for the rest of our lives. 

I gave her my heart a long time ago; the first time I saw her smile. The moment I glanced at her, I knew she is the one. 

She has everything that's needed in a perfect human. She is beautiful, kind, honest, selfless, talented, smart, funny, caring and sometimes scary too. I just could go on and on, but honestly, it's never gonna end. 

What I like most about her is her personality, eyes and her smile. 

Her eyes are something that you can stare at your whole life. Whenever I look at her eyes, I see nothing but love and care; filled with unfathomable passion. 

And her smile; GOD! It's breathtaking! 

Whenever she smiles, it makes her look more and more beautiful. It always gives me a warm feeling inside my chest, so I can't help but smile like an idiot whenever I see her smiling. 

I don't care if I'm smiling like an idiot right now, just thinking about her. 

All I want is her. 

She is the light of my life. And I love her so much. I can't even start to explain how much she means to me. 

I'll make sure she never forgets this day. 

I already made all the arrangements with the help of my friends. 

We are going to have a romantic dinner on our favorite beach. And then we will dance and then I will propose to her. It's a perfect plan. 

I already called her and told her to meet me at the beach at 9pm. And right now, it's 8pm; I better get ready now.

I am finally done. 

I grab my car key and take a last look at mirror- I swear, she's gonna love me tonight!

After some time of excited driving, I finally reach my destination. I get out of my car and go to see the preparation, before my queen arrives. 

OH MY GOD. 

I stop at my tracks, it's looking so damn beautiful! I smile softly and it keeps enlarging as I picture her delighted face to see my arrangements.

I get a glimpse of my watch and see it's already 8:45pm; after 15 minutes she will be here.

I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I just hope everything goes well tonight. I really want her in my life by my side forever.
