What To Do to Get the Right Woman – Charlie Samson.

Charlie looked at his article title and sighed. His supervisor had given him and only him the responsibility of writing an article in relation to finding love. It was an irony; Charlie had had zero relationships (besides one online relationship that had ended the next minute) and Henry was termed as the Casanova – as so many of the employees put it – in the office. Charlie believed that his supervisor was only using this as an excuse to look for how to marry yet another wife and to divorce the previous, and he thought it was downright unprofessional, but he didn't utter a word in opposition. His supervisor would cook up a lie and get him fired, and Charlie did not want that to be his fate. His article was due the next day, and since Charlie was a born procrastinator, he'd pushed it to this day, when in reality, his schedule hadn't been tight at all.

He cancelled his writing and continued on the same paper, making a mental note to recopy his work to another neat paper. In his mind, this was not official work, so he was not required to type or print it. He had the option to, but he didn't want his supervisor to complain about him displaying any act of sluggishness. It just would not do. He had only just gotten his job barely a month ago and he was not about to lose it to a silly mistake on his part. His job was to please his unprofessional supervisor and work on articles for his company. He decided he would not take credit for his work. For all he knew, his supervisor could be looking to claim it as his own.

What to Look For in a Woman.

The right woman for any man should be—

Charlie scratched that out as well. It seemed too amateur-like.

All men have different opinions on the right woman. Some men look at looks or appearance, whereas some look at character. Most look at —

Charlie did not even bother scratching it out. He snatched the paper from his desk and crumbled it up. He aimed for his trash can and threw the paper ball at it. It didn't get in. Charlie groaned and buried his face in hands. He was seriously considering searching up an article online to copy and paste. He'd just change a few words; he'd make sure there would be no harm. His supervisor probably wouldn't even notice; it wasn't like he regarded things much anyway, and if he truly was looking to claim it as his own, then he prayed Henry would get caught. It would teach the old man a fair lesson.

Charlie had little to no experience with love – or women in general. In elementary school, Charlie had mostly stuck to the guys who would even bother to talk to him. He'd felt mostly neglected and hadn't even been much of an athletic person either, no, not with the flabs that used to settle in lower belly. They'd made him insecure at the time, but he'd worked towards improving his body, and it'd worked in the end. Charlie could only recall talking with a few girls, but it was always over something trivial like a lab assignment or an English project. College wasn't any better either.

Charlie's colleague, David, took notice of his friend's behavior. He thought it was rather weird. "Charlie, Charlie, you look even worse than usual. Tell me what's wrong." David thought it would be good to crack a joke. His motive was to enlighten his friends' mood, but he had only done the exact opposite.

"Henry says I should write an article about finding love. It's hard to write about something you don't have any experience in whatsoever. Do you think you could get me a romance book? Preferably a short one – I need to finish it today."

David laughed and rolled his eyes. He was sure Charlie had at least one relationship in college. Charlie always told David about his college life. He'd always make comments on the food, technology, and his old messy roommate. Charlie really hadn't had it nice in college. David thought that he was just bluffing; he'd cook up something in no time. Charlie always wrote the best articles and impressed the majority of the interns.
