chapter 1

Bethanys p.o.v

i was in my room listening to some kalin and myles while i was doing my online school work when my mom called me, "bethany can you please come down here i need to talk to you"

"coming"

i made my way down stairs and my mom was sitting on the couch on her phone and her laptop was on the coffee table

"what did you want to talk to me about?" i said sitting down

"sweetie there's no easy way for me to say this but... your going to fly out to californa to stay with your father for the summer" she said kinda fast

my smile faded, i felt like i just had a mini heart attack, my whole world froze before me

"mom, you can't be serious right now"

"im sorry sweetie but it's for the best i mean you haven't seen you're father in three years and it was time you guys bonded and came to good senses" she said

"mom you know that i won't forgive him after what happened between you two, I don't want to see him and im pretty sure he doesn't want to see me so, im not going!" i said with attitude

" Bethany may Lara you are going and that is final, you're leaving in two days" she said standing up and walking into the kitchen

i hate when she calls me by my full name

"great, now my summer is ruined because of you" i said while stomping up
stairs

i got to my room and slammed the door and i just layed on my bed thinking about what my mom said, how will i ever forgive him? how will he react when he sees me?. my thoughts got interrupted by my mom shouting, "BETHANY START PACKING SO THEN YOU WON'T HAVE TO DO IT AT THE LAST MINUTE"

I groaned, not just a small groan like a really loud groan

i got up from my bed, I started to blast some music so then i can pack, i packed everything i needed, crop tops, shorts, bikinis etc.

the good part about going to californa is that, i had to do a modeling job for hollisters new summer collection so that was great

when i was done packing, i got a text from my best friend jaila

text convo:
B= Bethany J= Jalia

J- hey bae wyd☺️
B- im just here packing😬
J-packing for what?
B- I forgot to tell you that, im gonna go to californa to visit my dad and im gonna stay the whole summer, im so sorry but I promise that im gonna text and facetime you every day😔😌
J- you better because I don't know what i will do without my best friend, im gonna miss you so much😭
B- im gonna miss you too😭
J- well i have to go but you better text and facetime me, bye bae😘💕
B- bye and i will👏

i threw my phone on my bed and just sat there thinking about what i was going to do when i see my dad for the first time in three years...
