Rose's POV

I woke up at one forty-five AM. I got off the couch and the floor creaked a bit, I bite my lip nervously and looked at Aven and Alice, making sure try don't wake up. Aven groans slightly and I freeze. Once she stopped I quickly get my shoes on and grab my knife. I open the door slowly and carefully making sure it doesn't make a noise. Aven is a light sleeper, which is good on certain situations, not in this one.

Aven is going to kill me for doing this without her knowing. Aven doesn't like it when I do stuff without her knowing. She knows I can take care of myself but, she's overprotective of me and Alice. She doesn't want us to get into any type of danger. Aven is a good friends but, she can get annoying when she's overprotective.

I started to jog to the building that I need to go to. I quickly steal a glance at my watch seeing that it is one fifty-five AM. I have five minuets before I'm suppose to get there. I see the building and start to walk.

I appeared in front of the building that most people would be terrified of, a dark and old, torn apart building that had some windows bordered up out and some falling off. Most of the moonlight hidden by the clouds. No person in their right mind would come in here and that's why it is the perfect spot, no one will find us here.

My eyes flick to full black. I can feel the wind pick up and the temperature drop. It's my way of showing him I'm here. I take my time as I make it to the door with my hair flying so fast that it snapped in the wind. It was so cold that if I wasn't what I am I would have frozen to death by now.

I walk into the falling apart building. He is the person that has been trying to kill my friend. I start to walk towards him but, I stop in the middle of my tracks. I look down and move the old, dusty rug, that I think is red.

I moved it out of the way, under me is a trap. I look up to see him leaning on a wall, I stare at him straight in the eye and say, "Wow, Zach, I am hurt that you think this will stop me." I say it with sarcasm dripping from my voice and pointing to the trap.

"Well, well, Rosie it's so nice to see you again, why the sudden visit?" Zach says with a smile on his face. "Cut the crap Zach?" I hiss at him. "You know exactly why I'm here!" He looks at me like he was enjoying my small outrage. "Well do you want to tell me again, my little demon." Zach whispers with a smile still on his face.

"I want you to leave my friend alone." I spat at him "Well, well, I can't do that, you see I have taken a liking to your friend and I plan on killing her." He says. That's it, I lost it before he could blink. I go behind him and I put my knife in him. As he slowly sinks to the ground I growl at him "Leave them alone "

I watch him looking up at me, he looks weaker and weaker. I smirk and clean my knife on his shirt. I start back to the house letting my knife fall back into my pocket and my eyes turn back to their normal color.

When I finally get inside I make sure they are both still there. Alice might hate me,but ,to me it my job to protect them, they are my family now. Aven was awhile ago but, Alice is now.

I close my eyes as I slowly drift to sleep, thinking of everything that will come after us. I won't let anyone hurt my them because they're mine. So what if it's a little broken and bent, they're mine, and they're all I need and I will save them from anything.
