C-Captain

Well I've never done one of these so I hope it turns out alright

Eren's POV

Ever since the trial in court, I've been afraid of captain. I know that he had to do it for the sake of my life, but that doesn't mean he doesn't scare me. Now I am locked in the basement like I am an animal. Levi told me he would come to unlock the chains at 5 a.m every morning. I don't mind it to be honest, I just wish he was a little more gentle.....

As I wake up in a sweat while breathing heavily I turn my head to see captain just waiting for me to stop moving, I feel the tears threatening to spill out of the corners of my eyes as I see him give me a stern look out of my peripheral vision. Once I finally calm myself, "C-Captain" I say trying as I hiccup. "Stop moving brat, I am trying to take off the cuffs. I don't have all morning shitty brat." Captain spews out like venom making me flinch a little bit. "Sorry c-captain" I say as I finally stop moving. I hear a "tch" as he finally takes them off.

Levi's POV

When I walk into the brats room, I hear whimpering and the chains being strained against. As I walk up to him waiting for him to stop moving he wakes up in a sweat, once he notices me he tries to calm down knowing I was gonna get mad. As he finally calms down I start to unchain him then leave without a word not waiting for him. "Don't forget you're on cleaning duty in the stables today." I say walking away, only earning a small "yes sir" from the brat.

Eren's POV

Once I start to move I wince at the burning feeling at my wrist, looking down to see they're raw and bleeding. "I must've moved too much last night" right as I said that they started to steam from my 'amazing' power I was granted by my dad which is how I ended up here.... When I'm walking to the breakfast hall I hear laughing from all of the squad who doesn't accept me. I mean who would-

I was snapped out of my thoughts from Levi clearing his throat form behind me, making me jump. "O-oh sorry caption, I-I was just about to go in" I say trying not to sound scared. "Tch just go in brat" spewing his venom again "sorry sir I was just a-about to go in" there I go again always stuttering, so useless. You should just go kill yourself. My thought were interrupted by captain pushing me into the room, when the squad realized I was there they stopped talking and glared at me. Once again I flinch when Levi yells "this is Eren Jaeger I'm sure you all know, now if I ever hear or see you talking shit or even touching him without my permission or Erwin's. There will be consequences"

I look down in disappointment when I see some of the squad mates rolling there eyes or just looking away. "Am I clear?" Captain said making him earn a few 'yes sirs'. He shooed me to go and sit with them which was really awkward after that talk, but I decided to speak up. "U-Um what are your guys names, if you don't mind me a-asking?" There you go again stuttering. You're pathetic. Go d- "my name is Petra" when I look up shes smiling at me almost blinding. After she said her name I smiled and nodding then everyone else introduced themselves. While they were introducing themselves I was picking at my food and realized I had to go and clean the stables before 9. Who knows what could happen if I didn't complete it, but I don't wanna know. "Um sorry but I have to go now" I say making them all look at me. "Aww I was just getting to know you" Eld says. "You barely even ate" says another one and when I look to see who said it, it was Gunther. "I don't really have an appetite and I can't be late, sorry" I rub the back of my head nervously and run to the stables". "He's kind of strange, no?" Petra says.

When I was almost finished cleaning the stables I feel a presence behind me, when I turn around I see captain leaning against the door way. I gasp "C-captain" flinching as I say so. "What can take so long to clean the fucking stables" my eyes widen. D-did I not finish on time. Is he gonna hurt me. He's gonna kill me. Yeah he's gonna kill you. You better apologize. Apologize. Apologize. Apologize. My breathing picks up until I'm snapped out of it.

"Hey brat, I'm talking to you" I jump "sorry sir, I'll finish right away." I run to where I haven't cleaned yet. When I clean the rest of the stable I feel his eyes burning into the back of my head making me start to tremble. "U-um sir, I finished" earning a sigh from him, "Finally go take a 10 minute break and then head to the kitchen. You will be doing the dishes."

I sigh in relief when he lets me off the hook. "U-um I'll be going to the bathroom now sir" I say trying not to stutter, but of course I do because it's me. "No need to ask" he says as he walks away ignoring the fact I was trembling or he didn't notice. Mostly likely he didn't care. Nobody cares about you. Jump off of the building. They're only using you- I smacking myself trying to also slap the thoughts away which can work temporarily.

When I make it to the kitchen I see everyone's dishes from this morning and gulp at how overwhelming it all is. My chores are separate from everyone else's because no one wants to be around someone me. When I start the chores I zone out causing me to drop a glass. And with my luck it breaks and one piece stabs me in the foot causing me to groan. "Ouch" I look up when I heard a gasp to see Petra terrified. She ran away.

"Wait-" then I realize why she ran away she most likely thought I would turn into the thing I hate most. A titan. 'This is why you are useless' 'everyone is scared of you' no 'you need to learn how to control it' no no no. I pull the glass out of my foot which burns like hell leaving a pleasant burning sensation that I instantly fell in love with. Like you know when you see something and instantly fall in love, that's how it was. I stared in shock at my foot which was almost healed now, the steam going into my face causing me to cough.

Levi's POV

When I saw Petra running by with a scared expression I decide to ask what the matter is and she explains what had happened so I ofc "tch" and make my way to the kitchen. When I get there I see his foot steaming and him picking up the glass. "Is everything alright"
He gasps and falls over " I-I am so sorry sir I didn't m-mean to drop the glass-" I sigh, why was he always so nervous around me. "Kid,l calm down, what happened" he seemed to of calmed down a little bit. When he finally spoke up he said "well sir, I just got a l-little distracted and dropped a glass"

    "Are you alright?" He looked like he was taken back by the question "yes sir I just hurt my foot a little, it has already healed sir" I sigh kind of in relief and in annoyance since it was only his first day here and he already messed up "when you finish you can go into your room and rest for awhile" when I said that he expression dropped into a sad and also disappointing expression "I-I rather go on a ride sir" I was also kind of taken back by him talking back " I don't know if I'm aloud to let you go out by yourself, but you can go to the roof"
It was a little cute he expression lit up "thank you sir!"
