Simon drove us to the diner so we could sit and eat without anyone asking us questions on what happened and stuff like that.

"So I've been thinking for like a while..." I said while looking at Simon who was stuffing his face with French fries. "Si!"
"What?" He asked looking up to me.
"I've been thinking and I really want to finish what Kate started. She deserved to get out of this town but she didn't..." I explained.
"Then we'll do it. We'll get enough money to get out of here and then we can start new how does that sound?" He asks with a smile.
"Y-you want to come w-with me?" I asked surprised.
"What!? Of course I do! Who else would I want to go with? I can't just let my girlfriend leave me behind now can I?" He asked and I smiled at him.
"No I suppose not." I said finishing my milkshake.
We paid for the food and left to go to my house.
"Are you sure you want to go in?" He asked getting out of the car.
"Yeah, I need to get a few things then we can go back to your house." I sighed walking inside and started packing my bag with clothes and other stuff. I walked into Kate's room looking at all the pictures of us on her wall she was always so organized. I smiled and teared up while standing in her room God I missed her so much.
"Lexi, you okay?" Simon asked from the living room.
"Y-Yeah! Just grabbing some things." I sniffled and grabbed a few pictures that were on her wall and walked past Simon to the car.***
"Home sweet home." Simon laughed while helping me out of the car.
"Yea, home sweet home." I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "Thank you Si. For everything."
"Don't thank me. I love you and I'll always look after you. I promise." He smiled and kissed my forehead walking us inside.
"I miss her..." I mumbled.
"I know. But just remember she is always here, watching over you like she always did." He smiled looking at the picture I was holding.
"Yeah, she always did what she thought was best for us." I laughed a bit wiping the tears off my face.
"Hey, don't cry! She wouldn't want you to cry she would want you to laugh and be yourself!" He explained making me feel better.
"You're right...she was always talking about our future. She was going to go off and meet some nice man who would make her happy and she told me I would always find my way back to you." I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Well looks like she was right." He laughed and pulled me on his lap wrapping his arms around my waist.
"She was always right." I smiled and put my head on his chest as he played with my hair. He started talking about something but I ended up falling asleep.***
"Babe? Babe!? Wake up I made you breakfast!" Simon said while shaking me awake.
"Hm?" I ask rubbing my eyes.
"Wake up sleeping beauty I made you breakfast come on!" He smiled pulling me out of bed.
"Fineeeeee just give me a second!" I mumble.
"Okay I'll wait for you." He smiles and watches me walk to the bathroom.***
It was days like these that I wish I still had Late around but I'm fighting through and becoming who she wanted me to be for her and for myself.
"Lex you okay?" Simon asked because I haven't touched the breakfast he made me.
"What? Yeah I'm just not hungry...I'm sorry." I sighed not wanting him to feel upset because he took time out of his morning to make me breakfast.
"Hey, it's okay. You don't have to apologize I know you don't get hungry sometimes so I just made pancakes anyways. Let's just lay in bed and watch TV or something?" He smiles rubbing his hand in circles around my back.
"Okay." I smiled and kissed him.
"You're going to be the death of me Lexi Schmidt!" He smiled and picked me up throwing me over his shoulder.
"Simon! Let me down!" I laughed lightly hitting his back.
"No I don't think so!" He smiled and tightened his grip. How the hell is he so strong!?
"Fine fine I'm sorry I'm sorry!" I giggled and he sat me down.
"I love you Lexi." He smiled down at me.
"I love you too Si!" I smiled back and kissed him.A/N
