We've been walking for 2 or 3 hours. Hell we may have been walking 5 I don't remember. Anna has been silent unless we stop at a town for a quick drink or food break. Tyler has been-well Tyler his usual quiet antisocial self.
"Jeremy, look up ahead I think we just found salvation." I look up ahead and spot a URAL military truck. "NI-" "Hush! There are people obviously raiding Kin! You know how big Kin is so we have a few minutes to steal that car and Bolt out of here!" We all scatter and flank around the car looking for threats. Clear from the left I say from my mini microphone." "Clear to the right." Tyler's voice mumbles through the headset. Ok let's take it and go quickly now! Anna sits in the driver seat as we climb into the back. She attempts to start up the car but it doesn't start up. The noise from the car attracts the bandits and they start heading this way! "ANNA LETS GO!" I scream as the engine grumbles and we are shooting down the road at 75 MPH. "Phew that was too clo-" I stop talking when a bullet whizzes by my face and nearly hits me. It instead hits Tyler in his already damaged shoulder....poor Tyler. "AAH SHIT!" Tyler screams. I'm trying to re-bandage his arm but he keeps moving around! "Hold STILL TYLER!" I give myself a headache trying to get him to stop moving.
I get him cleaned up as soon as we arrive at a building with numerous crates and a huge satellite. "Hey Anna is this the HQ you have been Talking about?" "You will soon find out." She answers irrelevantly.
