pon and bua have been buddies ever since their diaper days. their mothers were friends and as they grew up together, ate together, drank together, played together, their bond became unbreakable.
they were always with each other, whether the situation was good or bad. both of them would never not be there for each other. pon would never forget how bua cried for days in his arms when her mother passed away and bua would always remember pon laughed with her on the smallest things.
all these little things made both of them so happy with one another, they never felt the need for more friends. and each passing second, they fell harder for each other and without even realising they were in love.
pon never knew he would love somebody the way he loves the girl in his arms who was sniffling at the emotional movie.
they were having a movie marathon at bua's home, which was practically his too since he stayed there all the time. like always he let bua pick a movie while he got the snacks and set up their little fort of blankets. he shook his head with a soft smile on his face when he realised his best friend had picked "the fault in out starts" again. she always chose it, it was her favourite one. and even tho he had seen the movie hundreds of times and bua always fell asleep between the movies, pon would never complain. he just loved to spend time with her.
"come on hun, stop crying you've seen this so many times" pon whispered softly im his best friend's ear who was cuddled up to his side before he raised his hand and brushed her tears away with the pad of his thumb.
"i- bu-but he's dying it-its so sad" he heard her reply. even though she was crying for a stupid movie, pon couldn't help but feel upset, he didn't like to see her in tears.
"come on angel, enough of this, let's go sleep hm?" he gently murmured in her ear to which she wiped her tears and agreed.
"'m so tired" bua yawned making pon chuckle before he stood up.
"come on i'll carry you up" he smiled at her when he extended her arms in his direction and he pulled her up. she wrapped her arms around his neck resting her head on his shoulder, gently playing with his black hair on the nape of his neck while he legs secured themselves around his waist.
pon settled his muscular arms around her waist, holding her close as he shut off the movie, eliminating all disturbing sounds before he made his way up the stairs.
he took her to her bedroom, before placing her on the mattress and softly laughing at her droopy eyes. he gently tucked her loose hair behind her ear and patter her cheek making her smile at him. he could've sworn her smile was the prettiest, the most beautiful thing ever.
he placed a light kiss on her forehead making her sigh before tucking her in the blankets.
"good night, petal" with one last forehead peck and a lazy bye from her he exited her room before smiling to himself like a fool.
"i really love her" he glanced back to her room before entering his own and falling asleep with her on his mind.
