CALL OF A WARRIOR

It was a fall crisp night in the year of 1438 A.D.; the moonlight so perfect and romantic, the creek flowing with life and the campfire crackling just made my life not so scary, but that's not all to my life I was left to die by my mother at age 7.  My name Chasca means goddess of twilight I'm an Inca Indian now 17, but luckily I found a friend he is a 16 year old he had wondered off from his tribe at age 10 his name Huanca god of nature. I feel like we are connected as one lost soul, I was to be a sacrifice, lost and confused from the cold winter but then a handsome man called Supay saved me from death his long dark brown hair with feather and beads reached out to the wind but even though he's the god of death he saved me took care of me with the help of his son. Huanca so sweet and delicate with the creatures he creates, I create the dark pretty much all there is too it.  As I lay and look at what my hands have made of stars and planets, I look over at Supay and say thanks for what he had did to raise me like a daughter but he's yet to know me and Huanca souls connected as one we have a child on her way which is going to be the third lost soul, she's going to be the moon goddess Ka-ata-killa she will be a warrior of darkness that shows no mercy but the light in one soul. The winds pick up slowly but I stand there frozen from fear I hear a stick breaking slowly someone's watching me from a distance. It's Kon the goddess of rain and south wind. I pull the bow and arrow out and point it at the wild spirited person I pull the string back towards my cheek come closer spirit she walk closer as she speaks softly she says "child you should not be scared I'm hear to help you with the creek the waters running low" I slowly put the arrow down and. "I bring water to nurture you child" as I say "but why you never"... before you ask why let me tell you, you never needed it you took care of yourself. But there are more places for you, Haunca and Supay child this trip will be long but it worth it there's plenty of deer and buffalo where you will head rain and water of plenty where vegetables grow of plenty. But child remember this there are dangers on their way to this land you guys run while you can your tribe is in danger run child run and tell the others. As I run I wander what will the danger be. I stumble and fall into Haunca's arms "we need to run now to another plain" he reply "what why" I reply "no time for questions we ride at dusk" Haunca's goes to the stables and cuts 3 horses ropes and saddles them up.

it turned dusk now we ride as they leave their camp Supay looks back and see's smoke rise from the plain "what's happening"? Supay asks " the whites have came to find slaves" we cant look back its gone, as the lightening strikes I cry but I cant look at the past, no one can. "Huanca what will we do, where do we go" supay asks huanca replies with silence "sometimes silence answers it all" the winds speak slowly and softly.

as they set camp up they hear a growl it's a saber tooth tiger, as they huddle together supay grabs his bow and arches it towards the tiger as he does that it hurdles towards  them it falls cold and dead from a shot that didn't come from supay, "hello is anyone there they her a drum beat towards the west lets go they are good people they will feed us and nurture us" supay reply's "its over the world has become cold and damp"

as they lay behind the fire they close their eyes and set camp as they lay there they feel frost on their faces so cold ,so refreshing. as they fall asleep they lay there so dazed will this be the end or will this be the beginning of a new life. chasca says "Ka-ata-killa shes on her way we havt to live shes our only hope
