Reunion (dekubaku)

Day Before

3rd per. pov:

Katsuki woke up like any other day at 6am to get his day going. first he did a 30 min workout, then hopped in the shower, put some underwear on once he got out, then went down stairs to start a pot of coffee, while it brew he turned on his flat-screen to turn on the news so he could listen to it while he finished getting ready for the day. As he was brushing his teeth he herd the news announcer say:

announcer 1: According to a post that the number one hero Deku sent, he is very excited to go to his 10 year class reunion.

announcer 2: Really WOW! Its been ten years since hero Deku graduated? Seems like yesterday we saw him making his debut!

announcer 1: I know! Time flies by so quickly. Some other news on number one hero Deku seems like the divorce with American hero Viper is finalized according to them they both came to terms with it and wish each other the best. Continuing with the news....

' WoW the divorce really happened huh? I remember when he announced their alliance and soon after their engagement. He was really happy. He invited everyone from our class to go to their wedding but I didn't go.. I blamed it on work, but I just really didn't want to see him get married. I haven't talked to him in over 10 years, ever since the incident in high school. It's not like he did anything wrong, I just made him leave, then we graduated and we went our separate ways. WoW ten years it sure has been a long time. Aw Man do I really have to go to the reunion now? I avoided the 5 year one only because I was recovering from an injury so everyone let it slide. I really hope I don't see him there.' Katsuki thought as he finished getting ready to go to work.

Once he was done upstairs he went down to the kitchen drank his coffee and with it a chocolate croissant. It was now 7:10 and he was getting messages from Mina.

/Text Messages/

Mina: Hey Bakugou did u watch the news?

Baku: Yeah

Mina: Can u believe it he really got divorced?

Baku: Weren't u the one who told if he wasn't happy in the marriage to end it?

Mina: Yeah but I didn't think he would actually do it!

Baku: Well he must have been really unhappy to actually listen to you.

Mina: Hey! rude... Sooo...

Baku: What do u want?

Mina: How do you feel bout it?

Baku: What do u mean?

Mina: Don't act dumb! U know what I mean!

Bakugou didn't actually want to admit that he was kind of glad about it, not that Izuku had gotten a divorce, but that he was single, but he still didn't want to see or talk to him, he felt guilty and nervous every time he attempted to.

Baku: I don't want to talk about it, it ain't ur business

Mina: Okay fine, I won't pressure u, ttyl?

Baku: Yea ok bye

Just like that Bakugou ended the conversation with Mina. Before he left for work he put his mug and plate into the sink and made sure there was enough food and water for his cat ZU, and turned off the tv. As he walked out the door he noticed some other people from his old class tried to contact him, but he was gonna be late if he didn't leave so he got in the car and went off to work.

--With Izuku--

Izuku woke up to messages that were making so much noise his mom yelled at him from the other side of the door. Izuku had to temporarily move in with his mom just until his new place was ready.

" IZUKU TURN OFF YOUR PHONE NOW BEFORE I GO IN AND KILL IT!" Inko yelled which she didn't do often but it was like 6:50 in the morning some people were still sleeping.

"Okaaaay mom no need to go that far" Izuku said while reaching for his phone to turn off the ringer and get ready for work.

As he was sitting down eating his breakfast he looked at the news and there it was. Now the whole world knew about his divorce, luckily they didn't know why. Of course people speculated and there were rumors but him and his ex had given a fake reason so that the media wouldn't bug them as much and know why. It bugged him that it had come to that, it hurt to know that the person he gave his everything to for about 4 years could just leave him the moment he said that he was a bit unhappy. Sure he understood her reasoning but the fact that she didn't even try to help their marriage really hurt. But now he had to focus on what's ahead not the past, there was nothing he could do about it.

"Izuku, honey when is your place gonna be ready?" Inko asked as she was trying not to trip over boxes that crowded the house.

"I think in a few days Mom, but I'm not sure I can call and ask but it's still a little to early to call the construction crew." Izuku said while drinking his coffee

"Oh its okay I just wanted to know when these boxes can leave." she said smiling at her son who was now getting up to leave for work.

"Well the boxes and I will be out of your hair soon I promise." he said as he grabbed his keys.

"Oh well I mean when you say it like that there is no rush to leave."

"Mom I know you worry and miss me but its a little weird that I am living at home again after high school."

"I know but-"

" Plus it ain't exactly safe for either of us for me to live at home and you know that."

"Yeah I know it's just that your my baby and I want you to be closer to home."

"Yeah well I will be closer to home I just won't be at home. I promise I will visit more okay?"

"Okay" Inko said still with a worried look on her face

"Okay! Good! I got to go now or I'll be late. Bye!" Izuku said while waving at his mom as he walked out the door.

"Byyyee! Be Safe" Inko yelled as she watched her son leave.

--Bakugou texting Mina at 11:00 pm--

Mina: U excited for tomorrow?!!!!

Baku: No Y would I be?

Mina: Because u get to se everyone

Baku: Yeah y would that get me excited

Mina: I can think of at least one person that could get you that excited!😉😊

Baku: MINA!!!

Mina: What? I meant me!

Wait who did u think I meant?

O.M.G. NO WAY!! U THOUGHT I MEANT HIM🤣🤣

Baku: NN-NO I didn't

Mina: Then who?🤨

Baku: Shut-up

Mina:🤣Okay well I got to go to bed before it gets too late, have a long day tomorrow

Baku: Yeah ok ur right you should go to bed.

Mina: R U not going to bed?

Baku: Nah can't really sleep

Mina: hmm well I could sing to you

Baku: nah its okay I still got the last recording u sent me

Mina: ok well goodnight

Baku: goodnight

Bakugou put on the recording of Mina singing and went to sleep
