Eiji vs Kuro! Full power!

*Eiji*

I have to try this somehow! I close my eyes and take my fighting position. I take a deep breath, trying cool off my head despite having injuries all over my body. I choose to restore my strength, so I have to give my body full confidence that it can do impossible things. Right before the sphere hits me, I open my eyes and throw a punch to it. It burns my right hand a little but I keep on increasing my strength into this punch. If I failed throwing back this sphere, I'll die. "Ahhhh!" I yell as I use my left hand to punch the sphere too, supporting my right punch. Luckily, my left hand deals enough impact to throw back the sphere to Kuro. Kuro quickly slashes the sphere from hitting himself using his bare right hand.

"Why don't you just die, Eiji?" he asks in dissapointment. "I already promise Leo that I will win this fight!" I answer quickly. "I see... Then how about I show you my true power?" he continues. I gulp as I try to think a way out in case he will make another version of the dark sphere. He closes his eyes and begins chanting in a language that I don't understand. Suddenly, a lot of cracks appear on the sky. What is he doing? Is he going to end the world? "Eiji... I feel something bad is going to happen..." Minori already scared. "I understood. Can we replace the missing left wing?" I ask. "Yes." I can hear her voice changes when answering my question. Whatever he is going to do is really bad and I have to stop it before he successfully did it.

I close my eyes and focus on growing back my left missing before quickly flies towards him. "Kuro!!!" I yell as I punch him on the face. He doesn't even move a bulge and continues on chanting as the numbers of the cracks on the sky begins to increase. Urgh! I have to stop him somehow! I continue on punching him a lot of times but the punches seem not to have effects on him. He opens his eyes and a mysterious force pushes me away from him. I make another chain and throw it to him, trying to wrap his body. Again, a mysterious force protects him. He stops chanting and looks directly into my eyes. I feel he is going to say something bad now.

"I will show you my partner from the land of the dead, Gargoyle!" he exclaims before laughing. A winged, dog face monster appears from the cracks. Its red eyes looking straight into my eyes. When it makes a direct eye contact to me, my body shivers and losing strength like it is sucking my strength. The gargoyle barks multiple times before the cracks vanish. Kuro grins while looking at me who constantly losing strength. "Eiji..." Minori calls me. "I'm scared..." she adds. I see... So this form is depends on Minori's feelings. If she feelings scared, this form will lose strength too. This will be one tough battle. The gargoyle appears before me in the blink of eyes and hits me with his muscular hand. Blood is coming out from my mouth. Kuro then connects the gargoyle's punch with a drop kick in my back.

This can't be happening! His power is completely in different level when we were fighting before. I quickly stabilise myself before I hit myself on the ground. I look up to check our distance. Without wasting any time, the dark gargoyle send a blast of blue energy directly to me. Thanks to my fast reaction, I am able to dodge before the blast making contact to any part of my body. The gargoyle keeps on shooting me with its energy blast. I struggle hardly to avoid myself from being hit by the blast. The attack suddenly stops. I look up to see what happen. I regret on doing that. Kuro sends out a large dark sphere directly towards me while the gargoyle power it up using its energy blast. I fly upwards in order to save myself from being hit.

Yes! I manage to save myself. The sphere hits the ground, making a large crater on it. I might be a goner if that hits me. Out nowhere, Kuro's gargoyle hits me with his mighty punch to my back. Argh! I can't believe that I have been caught unguarded. "Hehe... You look like you need some help..." a voice tells me. My left eye start to hurts. In order to relieve the pain, I close it with my left hand. "You can't win against them in your current strength. Come... Fall into despair and I shall lend you my power..." it continues. "Is that you? My other self?" I murmur. "Kukuku... Yes... I shall lend you my power this time, with no penalty at all. So, make sure to entertain me with your battle, okay?" he continues. I nod as I feel a lot of energy flows into my body.

I clench my fist and fly towards Kuro, ignoring the gargoyle completely. Angry of being ignored, it chases me with extreme speed. I quickly turn to it and punch him on the abdomen. I summon my dual blades and power it with fire before stabbing them into the gargoyle. The gargoyle screams as the fire burns it into nothing but ashes. I turn to Kuro who silently watches his partner dies. "I underestimate you... For someone to beat my gargoyle, you really are something." he compliments me. My eyes are set on him, not letting he lose from the sight again.

He summons out another dark lance to his right hand. "Do you think metaphormosis can only be done to living things? You fool! Let me show you the true power of metaphormosis!" he grips his lance and puts it at the center of his chest. He chants something in a different language as a dark aura begins to cover him. I use this chance to recover my strength back. That was nice of my dark self, I mean I thought he was aiming to take control my body but he just lent me his power. And because of that, I was able to defeat the gargoyle. The dark aura surrounds him completely like a cacoon. I have no guts to try attacking him, worried that I might waste my energy and been pushed away the same force again. The 'cacoon' starts to crack, revealing a full steel dark armored, head to toes, Kuro with a pair of dark steel wings on his back. I gulp nervously as I know that I might lose this battle.

Kuro lifts up his slim, dark lance. "Prepare to lose!" his eyes turns into two big, dark red dots in his dark as night helm. He dashes towards me as I block his lance from hitting me with my dual blades. "Just give up, Eiji! You won't be able to defeat me in this form." he tells. "It might be true... But, people are hoping me to win this fight... I just can't turn my back away from their expectations!" I push him away. "I see..." he pauses. "Then, I don't have any regret when I kill you!" he dashes towards me again. I quickly defend myself with my blades but he suddenly vanishes just before the lance hits me. Huh? Not again! I feel my back hurts. I turn away, Kuro just kicked me on the back with his heavy right leg. I use my left hand to quickly swing one of my dual blades to his leg but the armor is too strong that my blade bounces back. I face him and start hitting him with my blades countless of times. But, none of them could even scratch his armor, the armor is too strong! Dissapoints with me making pointless attacks, he tackles me with his full armored body.

I adjust my position using my wings. There is no way I can beat him. Not in this current state! "Minori? Are you okay now?" I ask. "Yes... Thank you for taking out that scary monster." she thanks. "No problem. By the way, I want to try something that is called 'Burn up'. This technique will increases our offenses in five minutes. After that time limit, we will enter 'Burnt out' status which is bad for us because we will lose all our strength. So, what do you think, Minori?" I ask for confirmation. "We should do it if you think you can beat him in under the time limit." she replies. I nod and take another deep breath. I clench my fists tightly and draw out my remaining inner power. A red flame swallows me completely from head to toes. I feel everything is changing inside and outside my body. I feel lighter and full with power.

A few seconds later, the fire vanishes leaving me with my new equipments, a katana hanging on my left side, a burning red knight's armor and light red helm and also a pair of a bigger burning wings. I open and close my palms, not able to believe that I just done the technique that my body remembered from a long time ago. Kuro throws his lance towards me. Noticing it, I use my new wings to block it before sending it away. Suddenly, Kuro appears in front of me and punches my breast plate. But, the the plate is too strong that the armor for his hand break instead. His red eyes are widen up and I take the chance to punch him on his abdomen. His armor starts to crack after the first punch it received. Feeling danger, Kuro backs off from me. Yes! If I can keep this up, I can win against him!
