Chapter 3 The New Group

I wake up and see that there are zombies evverywhere. I yell for everyone to see if they are ok. Brooke and Michael reply "Were ok." I say "Kill the zombies so i can help Connor,Carley,and my Mom get out the truck!" I get up off the ground and go to the car door. It wont let me open the door so i go check all the other doors and the back door where my Mom is works. I open the door and get my Mom and Tanzie out and carry them to safety. I layed them inside of a store. I go back to the car and tell Carley to come back here and let me get you out. Carley said "Ok im coming." I gey carley out and we were walking to the store when.....The truck blew up out of nowhere. I yell "IS EVERYONE OK!" Everyone replies "Yes im ok" I get carley to the store and go help brooke and michael kill the rest of the zombies in the area. We kill all of them and go into the store where i see carley crying. I go up to her and say "I'm so sorry i couldn't get Connor out in time i wish i could have but we need to keep moving we can't stay here it is not safe." Carley replies "I just need some time alone but i will come with you when do we need to go?" I replie "We will leave tomorrow." I leave her and go talk to my mom to see if she is ok. I say "Hey Mom are you ok did you get hurt?" Mom replies "Im ok just a couple scrapes but im just going to rest for a little bit." I walk away and go help Brooke and Michael get more stuff in the store since all of our stuff blew up. We head towards the gun department. I look and see that almost all the guns are gone but a couple pistols. So me and michael take the 2 pistols and all the pistol mags that we see. Then we sent Brooke over to get food. We use some of the dog beds for us to sleep on and we carry a lot of them back to where carley and my Mom are. We get everything ready and start to talk about where to go and what to do next. I fix everyone food so we can be full and refreshed for tomorrows journey. Me michael and brooke take shifts to stay up and keep watch through the night. I was up around 2am and i started to hear a noise. I went outside and a hoard of zombies were eating Connors body. I almost got sick but when i was goin g back inside the zombies saw me and started to come after me. I ran back in ans said "WAKE up! Zombies are coming we need to go now! Brooke repied "Ok i got my gun i will cover us for as long as i can but it wont be long." Well we are heading down the road. We had escaped the zombies. I say to my Mom "Whats wrong with Tanzie she looks sick. My Mom whispers to me "Don't Say anything but she has Cancer but im planing on putting her to sleep soon but I need to do it when people arn't around. Michael says "Hey look ahead i see people and something that looks to be a shelter lets go to it." Brooke said "Yes lets go we need to stick together and the more people means the more people can help us kill these zombies. We walk up to the shelter and group of people and they yell "Stop or we will shoot!" So we did as they said and stopped. They said "Are you infected?" We all said "No we just need to get somewhere safe." They said Come on get in here." We said "Thanks so much we really needed to get away from thoughs things." They ask "Whats your names?" I answered "Im James and this is Brooke, Michael, Carley ,and My Mom Suzanne." We ask "Ok we said our names now whats your names. They said "Ok then i am Jacob and this is Caleb, Hannah ,and Kate We have been preparing for this for a while so stay as long as you need." I said "Thanks we have some supplies that could help and where can we settle down at?" Jacob answered "Ok Michael and James follow me. This is where you two will stay." Hannah Said "The rest of you follow me i will show you to your room." Well we all settled into our room. I gave Carley and my Mom a gun just incase things get a little crazy. We all got together without the new group. I say "Carley were going to have a little memorial service for Connor so would you like to say anything?" Carley said "Yes I would. Connor was my true love and now he isnt here anymore and I know it will be hard to live without him. I wont have to suffer no more because im going to join him." I say "Wait what are you doing?" Carley puts the gun up to her head and shoots herself. Michael says "NO!" Brooke and my Mom start to cry. I say "Im so sorry I couldn't save your husband i didn't want this to happen." Jacob and Kate walk in and say "What is going on here!" They grab all of our weapons and ask again what happened? I say "We were having a memorial service for her husband that died earlier and she didnt want to live without him so she killed herself." Well yall are under lockdown you cant leave. this room you will be killed on contact if you step out of this room. They leave the room and we are trying to plan an escape from here..........
