Dreams

She sees him and smiles,
they walk up to each other and hug each other tight.
They break apart, 
and walk down the street together, 
hand in hand.
She still can't believe their together.
It's the best thing that's ever happened to her..
She doesn't have to fake a smile for once.
It just simply crawls onto her face as if that's the way it's always been.
There's not a moment around him that she doesn't feel pretty,
like she always should have before.
He doesn't feel alone for once.
At night he holds her tight in his warm and gentle arms.
Not a night goes by he doesn't whisper the sweet words "I love you" into her ear before she falls asleep.
He stays awake as long as he can, 
just to watch her sleep.
She doesn't wish to be dead anymore.
She's never hurt.
He would never let anything happen to her...
Their perfect for each other.
But she should know not everything lasts.

Only to find the real world.
Realizing,
it was all just a dream.
And that's all it ever will be.
