I got stuff to do.

I know you do too.

Olivia sat beside you at the bay window of her room, both of you frustrated and irritated by each other.

"You can't just leave." Olivia whispered, getting fed up with all the arguing. "Olivia, this isn't something you can decide for me." You shook your head, as the sad look on your girlfriend's face began to cloud your judgment.

"You're just gonna let me go?" Olivia questioned, not believing that you would just...go,"You're just gonna let us go?" Olivia's voice broke.

"I get that this is hard for you, it's hard for me too. Heck, I couldn't even bring myself to tell you in the first place, but...I have to go."  There was a pause. Olivia wasn't able to utter a single word, you sat there waiting for her.

"Olivia, this is an opportunity I can't just pass up." You waited for a response but yet again, nothing, "And you reacting this way really isn't helping my decision." you spoke up, watching Olivia as she had her head down to the ground in sadness.

"Y/n, I-" Olivia tried to say something, but was thankful that you cut her off, because she really didn't know what she was going to say.  Beg You to stay, again, perhaps?

"Listen, you've got work to do and I have to go finish up packing." You stood up, about to leave when a hand wrapped itself around your wrist.

But I won't let go of you.

'Till you push me away

"Olivia, what are you-"  "I'm not letting you go." Olivia whispered to you, "I'm never letting you go." you stared down at her, completely silent, unable to speak in that moment. "Not until you push me away."

"You know you could always visit." you commented, "Goodbye for now, isn't goodbye forever."

"Don't you think I'll miss you while you're gone?"

"What if I promise to come back after it's all done?" You countered, "We can make this work, Liv."

"Y/n, the only way we can make this work, is if you stay." Olivia stated, staring back into those e/c eyes that had become so familiar to her.

"I'm sorry, Olivia." you spoke softly, not moving a muscle.  You didn't take a single step, not until Olivia let your wrist go, and You made your way out of Olivia's bedroom.

I miss you.

I could see you tomorrow but I don't wanna wait.

As Olivia sat on her own by the window, she thought about it all.

About how you wanted to go out into the world and live your dream.

About how she was trying to stop you from doing that.

About how much she'll truly miss you.

And she decided that she could see You after you comes back, but she didn't even have the power to wait till tomorrow to see that beautiful face of yours. She already missed you.

Olivia got up, raced out of her room and caught You just about to open the front door of the apartment.

Kiss me in the doorway.

Always on your way out.

Olivia pressed you up against the door-frame, colliding your lips together in one of the most passionate kisses either of you have ever experienced.

You stood there for so long, Olivia's hands placed on either side of your face, holding your face as close as possible. Your hands had found their way to a familiar place on Olivia's waist, pulling her body closer as the two of you shared your moment.

Neither one of you cared for the lack of air, you only cared that you were on each other's lips, frozen in time.

I'm tryna make you stay.

So we can make out.

Eventually, you found yourself pulling away slightly, staring in Olivia's soft brown eyes.

"Olivia, what are you doing?"  She brought her face closer to Yours again, her lips grazing yours, and she whispered out, "I'm trying to make you stay." She paused, seeing the look of pain, and slight disappointment, in those beautiful e/c eyes, "Even if it's just for a little while longer."  And she brought her lips to yours again, igniting a flame between yourselves.

You're an open book.

But I can't read you.

Start the countdown.

'till I lose ya.

Three, two  One.

The two of you pulled away from each other, looking into each other's eyes with sorrow, feeling absolutely devastated with what was about to happen.

"Goodbye Olivia."

Olivia nodded, watching as you turned and stepped out of the door. Off to finish packing for a new life without Olivia.   It hurt the both of you, neither one of you wanted to leave the other, neither wanted to be without the other, it hurt so much.

What were you supposed to do? This was your dream. You had wanted to be able to do something like this for most of your life. To display your art for everyone to see, to inspire the people around you with your work. To show everyone how passionate you were about it all.

I'm done, I'm dead.

Forget what I said.

And that's when you realized something. This hurt.

This hurt because you were leaving Olivia. The one who believed in you no matter what, the one who was always there for you, the one who cared about you more than anyone else ever did.

Thinking of her, you understood that Olivia is who you have wanted to be with for most of your life.

Olivia is your dream-girl. Olivia is your inspiration and you were so incredibly passionate about Olivia. And it dawned on you, how could you ever leave Olivia like that?

You stopped in your tracks, halfway down the hall that lead to the stairs that lead to the street. And you turned right around, making your way back to the apartment that had become a second home to you.

Kiss me in the doorway.

"Y/n? What are you-" Before Olivia could even finish speaking, your lips were pressed against hers, and you had her standing in the doorway. "I could never let you go." you whispered against her lips.

You pulled her even closer, your hand resting on the small of Olivia's back, while She kept her arms around your neck, keeping the both of you connected and close together all through the kiss.
